i think he is absolutely perfect for the new generation of players. it's sweet actually that someone's first mario game will be Wonder, or Brothership, and that kids today will get acquainted with the new voice. charles did it perfectly for us for the time period, we'll always remember it, but i think the break off point being Mario Wonder was perfect. Afghani did an outstanding job in that game, it felt like breathing some new, young life into them. After all, Charles and Kevin both started with games that are intended to be a child's first introduction to Mario (Charles' debut was Mario Teaches Typing :'])

​@PawprintsMaker I never understood why this perspective evolved because I always thought her attitude came from annoyance instead of hate? She only gets ticked off at luigi when he acts goofy and childish in important moments (he legitimately tried to get her to fight a boss in BIS because it was scary 😅). Post BIS, she and the bros are more than just coworkers by circumstance, and she is there to help out on their adventures because she is their friend. The annoyance is still there, but she is also nice when he steps up to the plate.

@@ericonion3561 There's a secret boss in BiS where she just flat out makes fun of Luigi after the boss is already defeated. And when you first meet her in Dream Team, she flat out tells Luigi that he looks like a trainwreck. After I saw those, everything else sort of got under my skin.

She makes fun of Luigi by not believing and joking around about his claims of stopping an entire alien invasion by himself as a baby when the braver Mario was also there. He gets sad, and Mario explains to Starlow that it was all true. She sees that her words affect him, so she apologizes and reminds Luigi that he is super just like his brother, and he immediately perks back up. I've recently been made aware that a popular clip of this scene cuts off before the last part. When she chastised Luigi's clothes about their raggediness, she is ticked off that he slept through half of their welcoming as representatives of the mushroom kingdom at Pi'illo island and showed up all bedheaded for first impressions. At the end of the day, Luigi clearly doesn't take it to heart because he is still emboldened by her encouragement and company when they get stuck alone in the slander-heavy Paper Jam (I cant defend her as much there though, because many characters regressed in writing and she really had no reason to be there).

These Magma head and Ice Heads guys found in Dream Mount Pajamaja were exclusively found in that area of that game. I doubt they’ll explain that Luigi dreamed up an enemy set to appear in a later adventure, but it’s definitely fun to think about and opens the door for more Dream Tram cool enemy designs to show up more often, you know?
