@@Towtruck_Dustin In big cities. Tow truck drivers and their companies fight for rights to tow accident or wrongfully parked vehicles. Its quite sad really. they fight over who gets there first etc.

Hey buddy why don't instead of trying to clean up a long strip of it and everything just piled up in a bunch of little piles and everything that way you can pick it all up at one time maybe about five or six piles and everything takes too long to push it all the way in one big pile we learned that in the roofing we had to teach the people how to do in roofing but y'all have a good day looks like a good video too y'all have a blessed weekend coming up. 👍💪🤟🌟🇺🇸

I remember my first car fire lol that wasn’t fun lol Good thing now is we have a broom attachment for our skidsteer for the big wrecks with a bunch of clean up lol

@@Towtruck_Dustin I do everything I possibly can to avoid doing normal car fires or stolen fire recoveries cause you know the thefts are gonna be completely torched lol hate having to go out and get all new work clothes and gloves since you know that smell ain’t ever coming out

I had a car catch fire on my bed while driving away from an car fire call always make sure nothing is smoking or smoldering and make sure the fire dept on hooks the battery properly ok

It's probably the companies...but nice truck👍 Ps, was that a little girls dress? Police calls can be tough...seeing the results of major accidents can stick with you. Im kinda happy doing service calls these days-when you show up to rescue someone with a broken car on the side of the road you're a hero

Yeah I’m just a driver, but thanks. Soon I’ll be running our New 2022 Kenworth. Thankfully that was a porcelain doll, not a real dress. The gore and stuff doesn’t really bother me. I’d say picking up someone’s life collection of belongings off the side of the road messes with me more than anything. I know what you mean tho. That’s why I like running the flatbed. I generally get to be the one that brings the someone’s bad day to and end and get them off the side of the road.

We don’t contract for AAA, but we get calls from them now and then when they need help. We contract with most off of the other roadside assistance companies however

Getting those straps through any wheels, put a zip tie on your straps and rim slings. It would be easier on you and you won't fight with it.

I’m not putting a hole in my straps lol Endless loops and rim slings yes, but not my D-ring straps. I have longer straps, and straps with mini J’s, or 8 points for that. Lol

I know it's part of the job as tow truck. But it still stinks not only u got to pick up wreck vehicles, that u also have to sweep up the mess.. u figure the police wants to open street up asap that they would have road maintenance people come out to do the sweeping and pick up trash so the tow truck person can pickup vehicle and leave it would be faster for all people

Waiting for the city to show up would take forever. Having us do the work is definitely the best way to open the road. We’re generally there within minutes of the accident happening, and gone shortly there after.

They would have if I loaded first, but I try not to drive through the glass and debris, so I generally clean up first. Most people load first then clean.
