When I towed, I towed with the same mentality Johnny has. Lucky every day that I was not hurt and God protected me. I treated every car as if it is was my own as Johnny does with care and respect regardless of what the vehicle was. From $200k racing trim illegally parked locked out Porsche to cheap beater Honda Civics, treat them like your own. In those years I had only one incident where the cable snapped and the lowered Civic slipped just off of the edge of the bed as I was pulling and messed up the ground effects. The dude came after me but he was in enough trouble with the cops already. Still, I felt terrible. Things you learn in this business. Johnny is a great man and wo derful example of what a dying breed of us gentlemen are in the world. Hats off to you sir!

You say it all the time, and it is so true. Communication is key! Years ago I was 450 miles from home heading home from my grandparents my Chevy S10 spun a rod bearing, I pulled into gas station off the highway, explained to the manager that I lived 450 miles away. And that my father would be coming back to my grandparents in two weeks. I asked if they would mind the truck staying there until my father came down with a tow dolly. They had no problem with it being there, they told me where to park it and wrote a note for the rest of the staff explaining why that truck was sitting there. I called them each week to just reassure them my father was coming to get it. And after two weeks dad showed up with a tow dolly and towed it home for me. But Communication was key.
