It's not laziness. I grew up in an area where dumping like this happened. It was pretty much just poverty and the fact that people couldn't afford to pay for garbage service. When the choice is between paying for garbage service and your children having food and diapers, most people will just choose to dump. Garbage service should be free for all, otherwise we will always face this sort of dumping behavior.

I have never seen anyone work harder than you, or accomplish more. I love the monstrous jobs you tackle. I love that they entail different kinds of skills to finish, not just mowing. I love the little comments you make to us as you work. It hurts a bit to see you work so hard without any help, but I know that is your choice. I so enjoy your channel. So amazing to watch you make magic wherever you go!

There are not adequate words to express what a difference you are making in your community. It looks like there is no pride left in these neighborhoods, and that is very sad. Hopefully you will be recognized by your city for the hard work you do for our entertainment and more importantly, for the neighborhoods directly impacted by your good deeds. Keep up the outstanding work!! I look forward always to your next video!!

You are so totally amazing, in 2 days you cleaned this up?! Shocking how people will use a perfectly good piece of property, even with covered up perfectly good sidewalks, to dump their filthy trash. And you’re still cheery, saying “it’s a stinking beautiful day, love it!”😮😮😮

I’d get my garden gloves and pitch in if I saw you. At 66 I haven’t the energy I had 15 years ago but I still love yard work and gardens. Seeing things go from chaos to order is thrilling to me. Thank you for caring.

12 bags! So nice to see a Michigan guy cleaning up yards in the Detroit vicinity. I'm 50 miles north of you. You sure can pick the worst projects buddy! I applaud your commitment and desire to make our hometown areas a cleaner, safer, beautiful area to live in. How NICE the neighbor offered his dumpster! So glad you trimmed the trees. That one over the sidewalk could knock a person out! And the trash never ends! Beautiful transformation! Thanks buddy! Now someone will buy that lot! May you be blessed 10 Xs over, hugs!

@MidlifeStockman - FABULOUS WORK!! ..... that poor tree got delivered from the strangle-hold of vines. Wow! all that garbage ... now GONE. It feels so GOOD to see such a lovely corner lot, right across from .... is that a Lake? .... i grew up in Michigan (Wayne and Wyandotte) during the 1960s and '70s. It makes me happy to see someone CARING about Michigan neighbors. Thank you so much! i now live in rural Ireland.

Everyone is so glad that you cleaned up their neighborhood. Why didn’t someone help pick up the trash? The other thing that I can’t figure out is WHY? Why do they throw their trash on someone’s property? Don’t they have garbage service? How come the city allows it? Crazy to me. Great job! Thank you Sean for caring about your community! 🤗🤗🤗~Becka

Great transformation of this property Midlife! Do neighbors ever offer to help. Sometimes neighbors want to clean up but are overwhelmed by the project. At first glance, the lot seemed endless but made just for you. I remember the transformations where you went way beyond the property lines of your picks to edge, mow or pick up trash of the neighboring properties!

Everyone could take 60 minutes out of their week and do work together with their neighbors. Does it bother your eyes to see dirt? It would also be educational for children to see their parents move towards a common cause.

I have no words Sean, but that was a HUGE cleanup and transformation all at the same time!! AMAZING! You make what the world should be like. I just had to convert 2500 LBS to kilograms (Kgs) I was shocked to see the weight I did three more times to check with Google and that came to 1,133.98 Kgs, that's a LOT of trash. Thank you for doing what you do! Take care!
