Small investments in the team. They haven't spent a penny in this window, saved a huge amount on wage bills by getting rid of some very expensive players, 160m per year saved, the young players are doing a man's job and the the two sharks are getting richer.the problem is not the manager or the team, it is Lewis (criminal) and Levy his right hand man. He plays players out of their position while he shoehorns them into positions, and he's the one who signed the lower-quality players. He only signs lower-quality younger players because he can't handle the high-quality experienced players! I don’t understand how people watch two 45 minute halves and then spend over 3 hours complaining whether we win or loose, then two days later another 3 plus hours complaining again. If being a supporter of a team causes you that much anger and rage maybe you should take a break for a while and gain perspective. As for me, I like Ange, I appreciate the fact that he speaks directly and doesn’t make excuses, I appreciate that he has actually undertaken the full rebuild of the squad and they style of play is more pleasing to watch. the negativity is a coping mechanism. everyone is disappointed when we lose and a common way to cope with that is finding someone to blame, whether it be a ref, a player, manager or ownership. the truth is most losses are multi-faceted and can't just be explained by a single factor. it's comforting to think that one thing is solely to blame because then if you fix that problem everything is fixed.

Because he’s in it for financial gain. And people like Stel….gee he always likes to sell himself regarding his coaching proess…and the people he knows and chats too…..so who was the last Premier League team he managed….hahahaha. Sport is not a perfect world….players are not machines or robots. Supporting a team is about following them thru thick and thin…enjoying the ups and downs that come with that support and not elevating sport above real life issues and circumstances. Sick of them going on about quality players and blaming Ange for not getting them to the club. Top echelon players will only go to clubs that pay top echelon wages each week. Spurs are ranked roughly 6-7th out of the 20 teams for player weekly payments. Savva and Stel keep going on about what each new player has cost us to buy….but…they never tell fans that their weekly wages aren’t the same as players with City or Arsenal..blah blah blah. The reason for that….Levy is not going to ok a new player if he doesnt fit into his current wage allocations for the squad. Levy is a business man and is looking after his shareholders.

I am Ange fan but I am really concern about this season. Last year Ange talked about challenging for the league, second year he usually wins thing. Early this transfer window Spurs was linked to Neto, Eze and Gallagher by all the ITK who were ready made players. We didn’t get those players. Now in the first press conference when asked about expectation this year, Ange stated “progress”. Then last press conference he talked about signings preparing for “3-5 year cycle”. I just can’t helped but feel that Ange has been let down by the club or Daniel Levy in his number 1 transfer targets and Ange is forced or contractually obligated to say he is backed and hence Ange pivoted to a youth project. After all Ange publicly stated he wants his signings to be done early and NONE of the signings we made were involved in the euros that could have explained the lateness of the signings which force Odobert and Solanke to start without preseason time to adapt to new system. This suggest that they had other targets in mind but had to move to secondary targets. The whole situation just reads like the manager being shafted by the club.

💯% agree with you Paul. The moaning and whinging is unbelieveable. Here are some real facts. Not cherry picked. This season we have Won 1, Lost 1 and Drawn 1. This season, in our first 3 games, we have scored 6 Goals and Conceded 3 Goals. We have been more consistent as a team this season playing the full 90 minutes compared to 2 halves all last season. The team is practicing set pieces and also our players in the Newcastle game weren't afraid to take a shot outside of the box. Sarr, Porro, Maddison all peppered the goals. Ange will tweak tactics. It is upto the Players to step up and follow instructions. Brennan Johnson followed instructions by whipping the ball across the box. Where was Son, Werner? It is about time players take responsibility and learn to be in the positions they are supposed to be in. That is not the Manager's fault. Get behind Ange and ignore the Xtossers. They are a miserable bunch.

Fans have got every right right to be angry annoyed and throw pelters at everyone we lost the game of football for god,s shake our third defeat in a row at Newcastle away our away form since ange took over is absolutely shocking and ange this is his second season where he has shown no signs of improvement from last season whereas there's regression instead one through ball from joelington can easily cut our midfield and defence wide open how shocking that is if we lose against arsenal at home again it will be third time in a row 2nd in ange,s tenure people should call out everyone tear that stadium to pieces constant booing at ange and the board cause that would be absolutely unacceptable things must improve or it shall remain toxic 🙏 you cannot accept everything or call it out as a bad day in the office if we lose it's shambolic no more excuses for ange people have every right to treat him in a same manner how they treated other managers

This is the second YT video I've seen addressing the divide within Spurs fandom, today. I suggest a truce. The reality is that some people see the glass half empty, and some half full. At the end of the day we all have to live together, and we must recognize that the name calling, accusations and abuse ultimately affect the vibes at the club for the worse. I cannot condone calling for the firing of a manager or anyone else. I can't condone attacking other's for sharing thier opinion, or supporting thier club as they prefer. Imagine if someone called for your job? I'm seeing a bit too much hypocrisy. I'd like to remind everyone of two moral tennets that could help shape our online interactions: 1. Do unto others 2. Avoid treating others as mere means. We can make this better, together. COYS

Funny, he kept referring to a "football club"....no football club here mate. I for one would love to be happy, sadly an investment company came along and bulldozed 100 plus years of history, annihilated our essence and replaced it with a NFL/events arena with the so called "football club" as an "anchor tenant" (according to ENIC...not me). You like what your seeing? you're enjoying it? Going in the right direction? We used to win stuff... 1 league cup in 24 years, finished 8th last year, gone from Bale Modric and Van der Vart to Johnson, Werner and Odabert in a few years. (That's with the "game changing stadium") Anyone who has loved this club SHOULD be seething, but then with the price of a season ticket I suppose you got to engage in this kind of Stockholm syndrome to justify it . Oh and the owners absolutely don't like dissent and have you tubers and journos in their pockets. They've got a job to do, and it don't involve football I'm afraid. Plus Levys just been reported as 1 of only 3 chairman to go against the European ticket price cap. It never ends....

"ANGE MUST GO .....BACK TO BASICS!" _"I truly believe if we go back to basics we could be a very good team that finishes in the Champions League positions!_ _I don't think the players are as bad as Ange is making them look._ _However, the stubbornness to change anything from Ange will be why we fail!"_ -The battered Savv.

We had high hopes for Ange but unfortunately like all who came before him, he has been well and truly Levy’d. This is what us so called haters are getting at. Why do you think the last quarter of a century has been the least successful period in our history? Levy has got the knack of making our managers yes men. He said that these are his signings when in reality he accepts what is presented to him. If you guys are really honest with yourself, can you defend the signing of Johnson for £50m, one of the worst footballers to wear our shirt since Gregor Rasiak. And signing Werner twice? After following Spurs since the mid 70s I’m calling it now. The Odobert kid, like Johnson, n’Cludu, n’Je and Sess I don’t think will come good. I hope I’m wrong like I hope Solanke will be as good as Kane. The question of Ange staying, walking or getting the boot is pretty much irrelevant compared to the issues of the clubs ownership. Don’t hate the so called haters we’re just being realistic. And by the way, as a long time supporter and holder of one of the most expensive season tickets in the world, I am bloody entitled
@jjr25742 ай бұрын
@@mikezappa yeahh I agree. People can have any opinions they want about the football club cuz this is their football club and especially if they are paying season tickets! The reason why people hate you 'haters' is because they want football to be something positive in their lives. Football is an entertainment, that 90mins is a temporary escape from reality. Whether you get battered 6-1 or win 4-0, you still enjoy the experience that 90mins gives you because people would rather watch the 6-1 than deal with other problems. This is why when the whole aura starts to become negative and people start calling their football clubs 'useless', 'don't know what they are doing', 'they want this and this person out of the club', they get angry and receptive.
@jjr25742 ай бұрын
@@mikezappa I have no issues with people who want to live in this 'delusion' that everything is okay with the club. It's perfectly fine and I completely get it. At the end of the day. Its just football. Its not that deep. If you don't want this bubble to burst, maybe its better to stay out of social media or at least don't go to the comment sections lol

This is not SUPPORT !! I wish they’d all clear off and support City or Real Madrid !! Everybody loves to crow about the Premier league being the toughest in the world but then seem surprised when we don’t win every week ! There are just 4 possibilities to win something each year and every club is busting a gut to win one, spending hundreds of millions in the process. Just look at recent results, no game is easy not even for the likes of City. Ange took over a completely dilapidated squad that has been poorly maintained since before Poch went and it’s like turning a bloody oil tanker trying to rectify it BUT HE’S DOING IT!! Just let him get on with it! Levy isn’t going to go out and spend 105 million on the likes of Declan Rice so you have to find another way. These whingeing idiots are ruining the game for me because I dread the fallout every time we don’t win, as if I don’t feel bad enough already! Over 50 years supporting this club and I’ve never been more ashamed of this back biting mob that call themselves fans. I’ve unsubscribed from every other Spurs channel so stuff them! COYS 👍
