Holy shiit. Terence is continuously over time a straight up genious I mean I always knew he was incredibly brilliant, but as I aceertain new knowledge from experinece, he becomes more and more profound. I think I will have to return to this one again

What a great mind! I have another personal interpretation for the reason behind potlatch events, I see it as a way to give new life to their people to start again and make sure that newer generations can start life from zero, we can’t compare burning feather items and small dwelling that can be build in a matter of days to our stuff. We make everything hard to get and build to make sure we can enslave our fellow human beings!
