Just to clarify on the "Being able to press a Life Flask on Full Life": You don't need exactly Corrupted Blood Immunity, just ANYTHING that gives your Life Flask a second purpose other than restoring Life!

Ironically Lifetap + PB also solves this "problem" (without even having to chew through ES) so you just start deploying your ballistas to get off full life and immediately pop the flask to get going.

I thought if you had Blood Rage buff on you then you're never technically at full life, so that would allow you to activate it whenever you wanted.

Get the 40% global increase damage 20% more mana cost node. It's almost as good as quill rain. It's a first tier node, a good 2nd and 3rd tier node may be better than quill rain.

Thanks for this, Palsteron. After three successive leagues in which I lost interest after Act 5, I'm enjoying the game again with this build. I'm currently in Act 7 and humming along nicely. I haven't got my Quill Rain yet but found a decent six-socket starter bow. I Alted it till I got +1 to Socketed Gems. Then on my Crucible tree, I got +20% Global Damage, +6% to Attributes, +6% Attack Speed and +2 to Frenzy charges, which seems like a decent set of bonuses for this build.

Skirmish was the first unique my group dropped in act 3, it was a godsend. By act 7 someone how found a quill rain and I was running your EA Elementalist, a great time was had :)

I currently running t16 without lightning coil/taste of hate (too expansive, failed a 5link tainted attempt and lost like 100c). There are quite a bit random one shot due to low hp pool (little less than 4k) even with granite/jade flask up. I am putting a 4L setup for divine blessing + determination until I can afford a 6L lightning coil. This build remind me the wardloop built I play a few league back, you feel almost invincible normally until that random one shot kick in and RIP

You can keep your Flame Dash at Level 1. Increasing its level only increases its damage, which we don’t care about, but it doesn’t change its cast time or cooldown time.

Life recovery is crazy :) Im basically in my act gear, and a Tabby, no utility flasks, only 1 life flasks, and its hard for me to die, there is a ocassinal 1shot from a combination of rippy map mods and monster mods, but like ive said, no utility flasks, crap gear. Pushing to red maps. Hardest part for now will be to get all the distilling orbs i need to automate my flasks. Also tweaked the passive tree a bit, to cap my resistances and spell suppresion, theres a fantastic cluster with life recovery from flasks and spell supp to grab connected to the tree, so after utility flasks and some gear upgrades it can only get better.

League start I thought was bricked until I got my quill rain. The thing about quill rain totems is that they cheese the downside of quill rain away in that it's incredibly inefficient from a mana to damage output. However, if you just plop a totem, that totem gets so many free attacks.

Apologies if this has been addressed before but have you thought about soul ascension gloves for bossing? I was trying to theorycraft around those gloves w wilma's last league as its up to 10% attack speed per second against bosses stacking up to 500%

One tech is you can take a mana cluster with mastery for 3 points together with chrisma and you can fit haster without cluster. I have been doing this.

Yeah league mechanic seems like endgame, in terms of fully using it. I've been using it for exp + the chance to get a weapon that sells for something (like additional magmatic ore etc.) Edit: Thank you for the video Pals 😊

He crafts on flask enchantments. I think he said he uses the one that's "reuse at end of flask effect". There's others like "use when charges full", etc that also work for automation on utility flasks. Think it costs 5 baubles and 5 instilling orbs to do the craft if my memory is accurate.

@adalos Thank you for your reply! However I apologize for making you misunderstood. What I tried to ask was "how to sustain enough flask charges to keep the utility flasks up permanently" I remembered it involved the old flask mastery with "utility flask gets 1 charge every 3 seconds" but I think that got removed in 3.21? Thanks!

If you do fit a mana flask in the build you can run and enduring one with reduced skill cost and use the new life mastery that converts 30 of cost to life and with just that you can run malevolence, skitterbots and grace without any extra reservation efficiency other than the ones on the build

Decided to league start Zizaran's TR guide but in SSF. Landed Wilma's and I've never seen it before this league, asked friends in guild if it was any good and learned it's build defining. Now here's the issue I'd like to try this out. However I don't have Lightning coil, and I'm not the most experienced player so I'm not sure how to get it besides sheer luck like Wilma's. Are there any substitutes/farmable methods l can use to get one like maybe gamba with Gwennen?

Got a lightning coil 5 linked it with right colors after 6 socketing it and valed it then I bought a tainted orb and linked it in 1 tainted fusing :D

Been struggling with damage output in maps. Not getting currency drops, unable to afford to key items that would make it better. Survivability is okay, but I have to stay a long time near mobs, even on T1 maps to even kill them.

Yesterday i found out that issue with life flask, to be honest it tilted me a lot, i was like "why Palsteron did it to me, why the coolest feature of the build doesn't work properly", then i somehow realized by myself that i can fix it with bloodrage and i was happy, then i found out that this blood rage was in the pob all the time and i just didn't noticed. So yeah, it was very important to know how to use this life flask, glad that you respond for that issue pretty fast Also im not sure about damage while on full life support, my life constantly twicking between 99% and 100%, so i dont know if this support working as intended in this build

You need to allocate the Life Mastery that lets anything above 90% health count as Full life

Bro this build is by far the best league starter I ever played. I comfortably have farmed a wilmas, lightning coil and a taste of hate. What I do instead of playing a jade flask, I use a divinations distalate, it will be enduring too and gives you mana some quant, res and rarity. I don’t think the life Regen stacks but the life flask definitely overrides that aspect but you keep the rarity and quant

I got the 'sells for unique' on my 3rd bow, after I went back to ledge from Act 4. It can only roll 3 sockets, though. :)

@@nicholascoughlin3265 Yeah, some people will get it their first bow. Some people will spend hours. It's probably worth it more to just push to end maps or buy your quill rain with currency gained through leveling the acts unless your ssf.

I'm going to post this question about the quill rain drop chances here in the hopes of finding something that going deep on reddit and google couldnt Ive farmed like 15-20 short bows on the act 1 map and NONE of them had the "sell for a unique bow" passive in the crucible tree. Has it been deleted or something? I spent the whole afternoon going for it and nothing. I was hoping for a 1/10 chance since I saw some youtubers that got it

Eternal life flasks have a much better life/sec rate. Do you use divine just so you don't have to hit your flask as often?

I still can't belive my luck on day two. Got my Wilmas farmed, Got a Lighning Coil and six linked it with ONE Fus, Got my 6 link short bow via Porcupine and hit it with at essence that hit +3 + free suffix for dmg over time.....im never this lucky i swear

i try the champion version in the last day of sanctum league and i feel 100% better than this pathfinder version. i'm in the red map lv87 with wilma, quill rain and a 6L (trash armour) and God without coil or the unique flasks it's sure at least one - oneshot per map!! 4k pool life, res cap, no taste of hate. for me feel to much squishy i relly don't like it. damage seems good until you start playing 12/13+ maps and for me it's a really to early point to go up with the gear: Divine cost flask, clusetr, +1 amulet etc.. i try to adapt the champion version on the new tree and i see if feel like good like in the sanctum. to clarify my comment it's for my personal feedback, it's not for criticism or some shit. thanks for the work! ^^

Any tech on how to keep totems alive in red map crucibles? They fall over to literally everything

Few things: 1) Get a totem res roll on one of you jewel suffixes to cap their res 2) Take the 2 phys dmg red/totem life nodes on the passive tree 3) Level 21 Ballista Totem support (ballista life scales with levels) 4) spread them out more while placing, so they don't get oneshot by a single aoe (biggest mistake) After that, totems will still die and you'll have to resummon/position them sometimes, it's part of their balancing

it's wise you didn't do a lot crucible mechs early. there are some super tanky rare monsters jumping here and there and ballista toxic rain has disappoiting performance at least with my early gears. might be better in late game

@@jamesgriffith7044 yeah i get that, but short bow starts dropping at lvl5, THe ledge is lvl6, so by that logic are you saying short bows only drop in The Submerged Passage? It's the fastest bow at until grove bow at lvl35, and given the bow meta is largely attack speed based I don't understand why NS's filter would hide it this eatly by default

The build would be nice if EA didn't exist but it does and this is just worse. Feels anemic to play with the delay of damage of the skill, which is far worse than the delay on EA because it sticks to targets. I hate that 90% of monsters outrun the damage, even with ensnaring arrow. With ignite the damage travels along with whatever monster is running after you, this you have to keep a monster in place to get the most of out it. That being said the damage is very good when it ramps up. The skill also isn't as fun as EA, no big explosions, no burning monsters, things just kinda fall over.

great content when it comes to PoE, as a person talking in a video however, i feel there is room for improvement. If you dont mind some constructive criticism: try and cut down on the filler words, such as "literally", "actualy" and the worst of all in your case "right". Between "right here", "right now" and "...., right!" you used it 57 times in a 12 minute video. And i understand that you try to cram as much information as possible in to a "as short as possible" video, but talk a little slower. It will make breating easier, less chance to loose your train of thought and perhaps makes it easier to concentrate on using less filler words.

Yup, fair criticism. With people's second language, the filler words are used while public speaking to have more time to think. Native languages are mostly "off the cuff" while 2cnd languages need proper thinking cause they aren't as "inate". As for "talking slower", cadence is really important in yt vids, so that's hard to reconcile with keeping people nowadays entertained.

Allthough i agree that filler words can be a way for a non-native speaker to give them more time to complete a sentence (and my hat is of to you, i was not aware that English is not your native language, it is really good), in your case (and i have no evidence of this, so correct me if i am wrong) it comes across more as an unconscious habit (especialy the word "right") than a conscious effort to help you formulate better phrases. If that is the case, it is realy hard to get rid of it, i know from my own experience. I agree that cadence is important, but cadence does not equal speed. Coming back to non-native speakers, a slightly slower pace, can make it easier for them to understand. Also breaking cadence can be used to emphasize. I am no expert on KZbin videos and alo not a ntaive English speaker, i admit, but i am an experienced public speaker, having been on stage in front of big groups of people for many years and currently a trainer for smaller groups. Do with my suggestions as you please, but I do think some of the best practices from "live" public speaking translate to the creation of KZbin videos or the like.
