Literally, I also confronted a teacher of mine in class 7th. What happened was, the school bell rang after the last period of my class. I rushed towards the main gate of the class to be the first in the queue. The teacher in the class slapped me tightly in front of the whole class. The very next day, I came first in the class and the teacher who slapped me, called me personally to say ''so-called SORRY''. I accepted her sorry, but inside me I was hurt. I was just a 12-13 years old kid, who didn't able to understand what had happened to me that day. I was not aware that this act of mine will lead to this consequence. Because at this age, every kid does some sort of these acts. But giving a slap is not acceptable. I shared this story so as to reduce the weight of this memory which happened to me. Toxicity is pervasive. We just have to accept it and move on.

There are always such toxic teachers who behave terribly with students. We had a teacher in our school who did not slap but hit students with Maths book on their heads. And that book was a heavy one. This was when I was in class 4th. And to think now, I consider 4th class kids as babies. I don’t know how those teachers had such guts and audacity to treat little kids like this, considering the fact that she was a mother herself.

I can relate. I have suffered full blown insults from my teachers and parents for the tiniest mistakes I ever made. I never had my parents on my side because they always wanted a PERFECT CHILD who can NEVER EVER makes a blunder. Well the after effects are I am an extremely private person who does not show any deep emotion to people surrounding me and whenever I get stuck in a problem I run to quora, reddit and youtube for guidance.

Okay so lemme tell you my story... I was every teacher's fav student. I was the headgirl , the topper and a very obedient student. But friends weren't like that some were mischievous, some were poor in studies, etc. But I loved them. One day I was sitting next to my best frnd (who by the way was very bubbly and sweet but not that good in studies which is fine) my teacher called me personally and said that you shouldn't sit next to her or else youll end up being like her. I didn't say a word and went back to the class.But I didn't leave her side. From there onwards the teacherwas very rude to my frnd. My frnd didn't have any idea what was wrong.Next year the teacher separated us into diff divisions. I told my frnd the truth and motivated her to study hard! Guess what I stood first and she stood second the board exams!!.. We both met the teacher during our felicitation ceremony and took revenge by using kind words . We are still very good frnds!!

will be completing 10th grade in a few days. I had these very toxic English teacher. She used to always insult me whenever I would ask her a doubt . Like what it meant for her was that if u study well ,u have no rights of asking anything . She had put me down a lot . She demotivated me to the next level . I didn't ever feel the love for the language after taking her toxicity . Thanks to the amazing parents I have who always kept me encouraging , n never let me down because of anybody else's opinion . I was bullied by the students almost my whole childhood because of my body and looks. Some teachers also were very mean to me. My science teacher in class 8th was actually a mathematics teacher but he was teaching us science that year . And since my dad was a chemistry professor , he knew bio and chemistry very well infact physics too. So i used to study from him. But when my school teacher came to know i know more than him , he started being extremely mean to me. Always taunting me and finding chance to embarrasse me everytime . But the irony is he sent his son to my dad in class 11th for study 😂😂

Agree about toxic teachers, not all but some, definately. I remember my 7th class class teacher told my parents on PTM that I'm on a line, and which side of the line I choose to go depends on me. Me & my parents were soo confused because I was a normal above average student with decent result. She said all this because the corner of the class where I used to sit, where she made me sit in the first place, some notorious kids used to also sit in that corner and she was referring to the company around me. Same.....it happened to me in 7th grade too....I was good in studies but bad in extra curricular activities.... basically I was an introvert as it was my new school and my social made me sit with a notorious, pretty looking girl who had a hell lot of following and craze as she had a good voice (showoff ). That bitch didn't let me answer a single question of the teacher because she forced me to whisper answers in her ear so that she would answer loud and get all the praises 😢😭😤. She also had a f....bad character....wait...she was the one who introduced me to f word and all.....! My studies were getting disturbed at this point and that culprit teacher who made me sit beside that bitch blamed me in front of my parents !!!!! (You can imagine what might've happened to me at home😢😢)....and he was praising that bitch infront of her parents! ((((All this because the bitch was good looking 😮😾🥲😑🫥😶😐)))) And yeah I went into depression and didn't have a single friend until college....also had to suffer extreme bullying from losers (still losers to this day 😂) Had also attempted the unthinkable too (twice)

sometimes teachers just find ways to vent out their frustration on us cuz they feel that they can, one time my social science teacher asked me to make a collage for her display board and i made it on a quarter of chart thinking that if i use the big one it will take too much extra space and next day she yelled at me saying it was too small and like seriously saying crap like look at this chart i asked that girl to make and it is perfect and i was like internally scolding myself for spending the time and money for an ungrateful person And what is the worst is that she tried to apologize after like that can redeem everything and take away the embarrassment i felt in front of other students.

While my school life was highly toxic and gave me years of mental health crisis to suffer with, my college/University life was little more progressive and liberal where they did not bully and attack one another for being "different". Recently I had an incident that is regarding attendance ma'am accused that I dint attence class for 1 month and in attandance book I don't have any attendance even when I am still present in class she is my hindi teacher those student who bunked the class got attendance but me who don't put leave didn't have attendance when I asked her that I am present in that month she told no you bunked class I told her ma'am I was sitting with my friend you ask her and I was sitting in 3rd bench you saw me during classes but still I dint had 1 month attendance and I had to pay 500rs as penalty those who actually bunked the class got attendance and me who didn't bunked class got remark as bunked student she is not even listening to me I bet she did mistake will taking attendance and not ready to accept her mistake because she is a senior teacher but karma will definitely hit her and she will realize her mistake soon and I was present and my friend also tolde they will tell ma'am that I was sitting with them but ma'am is not ready to listen to us shame on those toxic maams who don't do their duty properly and to cover their mistake spoil students future some boys of our class bunked many hindi class but they got attendance and me who scored 96 in hindi got shortage in attendance I pray god that she will get her karma soon

Hindi teacher toxicity is supreme Didn't happen with me, but to my brother who was in a different school. When he was in 8th class he fractured his right arm in school in PT period & got a plaster. So I think some unit tests were coming & he was worried because he couldn't write. So a week or so before the unit test his hindi teacher who was amongst the senior most faculty of his school, in a very taunting sarcastic tone, told him in front of the class, something along the lines of "tumne toh tudva di apni baju, acha bahana mill gya test na dene ka, I won't take your test later". And he got scared & came home & wanted his plaster to be removed immediately & didn't care about his recovery & all. First he didn't tell mom what happened in school, but later he spilled the beans. My mom n dad were soo furious, next day both took a day off from work & went straight to his school with his x-rays and medical reports & spoke to the principal about this mental harrasment that happened in the hindi class. The teacher was called to the office & was made to apologise.

same with me but actually im from pakistan so that was my p.s.t ( pakistan studies ) teacher and she was sooooo toxic to me once when i scored 96 on 100 in pak studies she literally recheked my paper in front of me and said about our exam checker: "that checker doesnt even know how to check exam papers , she has given 90+ marks to almost every student " and that was not correct because i was the only one who scored 96% in my class then she rechecked my paper and gave me 95% because of minimum mistakes but i was not sad because ofcourse 1 mark cant beat my excellence 🙄 infact she couldnt reduce my marks anymore because my paper was perfect from start to the end😏

Thank God i studied in a school in pune (icse board school) where all the teachers were open minded and equal with girls and boys ....none of the teachers ever commented on character if the girls were found dating a guy...instead they all were a well wishers...it was heaven ....i am grateful to God for such people around me

You know it's more about teachers personality beliefs that led to those traumatic experiences for some students... But it has nothing to do with board... I mean some teachers respect student with whatever capability they have but some are ultra toxic .... They have a habit of rai ka pahad banana.. 😊

If this is the example of your toxic teacher then you don't even know what other part of the world face... Our teacher used to bit the shit out of us when I couldn't tie my ear lenght short hair because I was late or said nasty things. My parents were toxic as hell so I couldn't imagine sharing as they would've blamed me only. Lol
