Due to the Fnaf 1 phone calls we know that the person who got bit lived the experience and it’s HEVILY implied that Jeremey was the one who got bit when he moved to the day shift. Although that doesn’t remove any possibility of mangle causing it, her jumpscare is directly towards the forehead, where the frontal lobe is. So I think any of the toys other than Toy Freddy BB and JJ could’ve caused it. (I don’t count the puppet as a toy animatronic)

IMO mangle must have did it cuz her plastic teeth can hurt you but not break a frontal lobe BUT....if we see in her jumpscare she opens her mouth wide and her endo's jaw could have bitten him cuz endoskeleton is made of metal

I personally believe one of the withered did it, Chica is the most likely candidate out of the withereds, Foxy is second most likely, Freddy is third most likely, and Bonnie is least likely. My thinking on it is because they can open their mouths wide, Chica has her mouth eternally open (until they get rebuilt), and her VR model has blood on the endo

Everybody says “Oh, it’s Mangle”, or “Oh, it’s Toy Bonnie”, but nobody has ever even thought of the most obvious character. Withered Chica. The Bite of ‘87 happens in 1987, right? That’s when Jeremy was working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. If he was there when all of the Toys and Withered Animatronics were roaming, it really could be Withered Chica. Why? She’s the only animatronic with a jaw problem. But that’s not all. She also states that she was the first victim of the Fazbear murders, so her motive would be killing Jeremy for thinking that he’s either William or related to William. But I’m just spitballing here.
