I've been following the Sonic Movie since it was first announced in 2014 and boy, it's kind of surprising that we're finally here, and it's finally happening. What's even more surprising is that it's something I'm actually looking forward to. Can't say that about a lot of video game to movie adaptations.

Same. I was bit split on the portrayal of Eggman in the movie since he seemed more goofy and out there compared to his video game counterpart. But then I realized they're probably going for a Saturday morning cartoon vibe for the film, and he does have some pretty good lines and moments if the adverts are anything to go by.

I straight up cannot believe I'm in a timeline where Jim Carrey plays fucking Eggman. I remember waking up the morning after the first trailer dropped and my first thought was to check if I didn't dream that shit up. And I still occasionally go "this is bonkers, I can't believe it's happening, I have to see this, jesus christ"

I was looking forward to it before the leaks and poster reveal, but I got more hyped when they announced Ben Swartz was to voice Sonic. The movie is technically the same as it was before the design change, they didn't shoot new live a action scenes or anything like that, so even if they didn't change the design the movie would have the same scenes plot and dialogue.

PUMA seriously messed up not styling the shoes after the movie version. They still look nice, but I think Sonic fans would be far more enticed to buy a pair if they looked like they do in the film.

I think this is going to be another "Detective Pikachu". It wont be a bad film like most video game films are. It'll be good, but not as good as we'd like it to be. It'll be fine compared to others of it's genre.

Dear pat I've found out that jakks Pacific is now making the sonic figures and are releasing 6 figures sonic tails knuckles metal sonic shadow and eggman and it's said that each wave will include 6 new figures and they have the same amount of articulation as the world of Nintendo line this all sounds amazing but sadly they will be 2.5 inches tall but there's speculation they will turn them into 4 inches for can service

Hey PatMac I think I might have a different version of this plush that might not be documented yet. mines a 14 inch plush instead of a 15 inch but it matches the 15 inch in design. The only big difference in it's overall design is that instead of having closed hands it has a thumbs up hands. On it's tag it also says it was manufactured July 2020. It also has ink printing on one of it's tags with the number 000053. Any thoughts on this?

So just today, I went to an arcade, I only did a few claw machines and games, in one of them, both movie sonic and baby sonic toy factory plushies were inside, either you had to put the ping pong balls in the (what looks like) a round ball tray, there were 2 blue dots and if you got them, you get the plush’s, the other you had to put the red rings on top of the glass bottles, they were claw machine inspired, I did the ping pong one and actually got a blue dot, my mother went to get an employee and got me the baby sonic, but I wanted the movie sonic instead, and she got the plush out and put baby sonic back inside, i was super happy as this is a very good looking plush, baby sonic looked good too! I already had Jakk’s baby sonic but hey, it was cool
