Hey bud, the way you done this figure it's awesome the best I've seen!, could you help me out tho I need to know how to do the stumble on his face I'm struggling and I'm not that good a painting so can you tell me a quick and easy way.

Wow. I really appreciate that so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best advice I can give you is to use the smallest brush you can find specifically for acrylic paints. Then get some light grey flat Model Masters paint (or even the cheap 50 cent Walmart stuff will do). From there, get the grey on your brush, and dab the excess off onto a paper towel until there is barely any on your brush. Then just dab it VERY lightly on the face. it should barely be visible when you're putting it on. Once that dries, give it another couple of dabs, and that should be good to go. You earned my sub :) Ok I'll give that a go hope it works also what about the arms/gauntlets the grey part I'm looking to make it fully back I was thinking painting it or maybe getting a black marker pen cause paint might come off when I'm bending arm up and down maybe ?

+Dean Abboud -Oh, no problem, man! None at all! I appreciate the sub! :) If you're talking about at the elbow, unfortunately I haven't figured out that mystery, yet. I apologizr. I stopped at the midpoint of the hinge so that when I raise the elbow, it doesn't touch where I painted.

+Dean Abboud I do find that if you use the Model masters Testors paint, it doesn't chip as much as the cheaper acrylic paints. You can usually find it for around 3.25ish a bottle. Make sure to grab the acrylic paint, and not the enamel. The enamel gets real tacky, and will ruin your brushes.

Anyone looking to get the body the right color and add detail that makes you wonder how the hell could they release this figure as is when it takes so little to make it great....all you have to do is take a bottle of black shoe polish (the one with a foam applicator) and do a few passes all of the body and wipe the excess before it drys. A few extra passes on the chest and ab area. The difference is staggering. Go a couple of steps further by fixing the head the way described in this video.i did mine pretty much the same way but for the eyes I used a fine tipped white paint marker,a dark brown one for the eye dots and a flat black one to fill them in a tad bit more. Added a homemade wired cape and this is now one of my favorite off the rack batman figures. Seriously at least try the shoe polish trick if you own the figure.

Awesome custom, again Rick. You could really make a career out of this, you're really good at customising for someone who rarely customises their figures. I only have one question. You mentioned in the video that you sanded off the scales which I personally don't really like with sand paper. Is it any sand paper or is it a specific sand paper? I would also appreciate some tips whilst doing it t o prevent me from screwing the face up. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the kind words, again! I just used regular fine grit sandpaper, and ran it over by hand. It comes off really easily. The good thing is that the plastic is colored black, and it really takes on the leathery appearance of the mask. Let me know specifically on the face what you need help with. Be glad to help!

+Batman Play Arts Kai -No problem, buddy. Yeah, it's completely cast in black plastic, so no need to repaint. Just take a wet cloth to it to get rid of the scraped off plastic, and you're good to go!

Thanks for watching! I just took fine grit sand paper and lightly sanded it down until it was smoothed out. Real easy to do!

Rick's NERD LIFE!! Hmmm... does the applebarrel paint really work well for you? Because it seems to scrub off for me when I move the joints. Also where did you buy the Vellejo paint?

AJ DJ Bron-3 Yeah, I don't recommend the Apple Barrel. It leaves a chalky, flaky residue that rubs easy. Even after sealing it. Vallejo is easily the best stuff that I've ever used. It can be picked up on Amazon. Can be pricey, but worth it!
