I remember when i was younger that I had an RC that a wireless controller and that was maybe the same size as the TSC but it was so much fun.It didnt have that 5th wheel either. I admit even though a lot of the toys now are really advanced, they don't sell some of the other classic toys like they used too.

@BreakingFAT There was no turbo button, it was just Woody putting the speed of RC all the way up, and the red light came on, but to keep the toy affordable, they could only put a normal foward, backward and park type of control on the remote. If they put the whole shabam with turbo and adjustable speed, RC would probably be over $130

The Toy Story Collection stuff is kinda cool, but there are places where the extent to which they take the electronic gimmicks feels intrusive (Unless you're a customizer and can find him or at least his bits cheap, I'd say forget the TSC Mr. Potato Head and just get the 1995 or 2010 Playskool version). RC would be one such place, what with that steering and all the obnoxious self-driving stuff, and so would Woody and Jessie. RC cars ARE toys.

They should've put that "Turbo" setting on the remote. It was used when Buzz and Woody were trying to catch up to the moving truck in the 1st movie.

@BreakingFAT I just watched the movie, and I froze it on the scene, there is no button for turbo. there's off and then there is a normal speed and a turbo speed, there isn't even a gear for reverse. There is no button, never was never will be. Eitehr way, for any RC toy to have more than 1 speed going foward would raise the price, trust me, I deal with a lot of RC's :P

Dude, I have one of the original RC's. It's the one that had the mini Buzz and Woody, except mine wasn't wireless...and he stopped working years ago. It really made me sad :( I was also sad he wasn't in Toy Story 3 (at least I didn't see him)

Did you know that Toy Story Playland which is located ONLY in Walt Disney World has a ride called "RC Racer"? The creepiest thing that RC does is go on his own when you press the "Explore" button on his remote control which happens automatically. I'm extremely concerned that this toy may run over pets and small children who get in its way. You told us that he does have good sensors and has trouble with handling turns. Is that right? 👍🏻 if you enjoy collecting toys like JTMitchell87 does in this video.

Are there different versions, say, like ts1 is kinda basic, ts2 more features, so on and so forth and with ts3 it has the follow mode, it is pretty loaded with features for an rc under 100 dollars. I might get this, strip it apart, rip all the mechanism out and replace it all with a full blown professional Tamiya kit so it is a proper RC car. I'll do the same to the controller and put an LED in the red dot, make a turbo mode, and replace the infra red receiver with a working aerial. Its a big job but I'm so desperate to have a real RC.

fuckkkkk im having a real ass pain trying to get RC!!!!! I already look for it in toys r us, they only have the older one,disney store, fuck its really expensive,almost 90 bucks, target, 4 times I went to check out in the store, and none!!!!! they said it is discontinued! so now I had to order it online. :) I hope to get it.
