I was away on vacation in Algonquin Park, so just saw that this got posted. It was great having you in the shop, it's always fun to deep dive into some of the weirder Star Wars stuff. Hope to see some of your viewers in the shop, or shopping online! Thanks!

Great video. Extremely entertaining. I would have left the store with a box of Dixie cups, definitely.

OMG 5:57 I cut out the newspaper comics too and put them in a old math duotang. Nice to see I wasn't alone. I still have it.

I absolutely love Star Wars. I seen it in the theater in its original release back in 1977 as a 6 year old. I never had all the playsets as a kid and the two things I always wanted was Luke's X-Wing Fighter as he's my favorite Star Wars character and the Kenner Death Star Play Set. I begged my mom for this. Unfortunately, my family wasn't a rich one so I never got it. I kid with my mom that not getting it prevented me from being the man I should have been.

I really appreciate it when you show these great stores here in Toronto. Have no idea they existed, and I can peruse them at my local leisure. It's the box art of the Star Wars action figure vehicles that drew me to pausing your video at times. Oddly enough they drew a reaction out of me than the vehicles themselves. Weird.

My one attempt at kid-nerd scrapbooking was cutting and pasting movie ads. I only lasted about a year and a half on that. Also, I had the stuffed Chewbacca and the Mego plush Kong, and I may still have the former. Wonder if poor Chewie can be given a good bath and not fall apart on me..

Nice video. If money was no object I would love to buy that Palitoy Death Star

FANTASTIC video! “Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell” is an absolute gem. I’m a Star Wars fan since ‘78 and I’m happy with the current state of things, but I too would love to see this older material animated. I’ll also put in a plug for “Droid World” and “Planet of the Hoojibs,” which featured the same voice cast!

The Death Star playset was unattainable as a kid, so that would be my pick.

You can probably print out the Palli Toy Death Star and construct it from foam board.

There's a website that has downloadable scans to do just that. Can't remember where off the top of my head. I downloaded but never got around to doing it. Would love to find scans of the Action Force/GI Joe headquarters version

THat's an amazing looking store. My dream purchase would be the full Kenner bounty Hunter line up. I bought the Funko pops of all the bounty hunters during covid and always thought it would be cool to get the Kenner figures and line them up on the same shelf.

Creature Cantina or Cardboard Death Star, had both when I lived in Edinburgh but when we emigrated we didn't have space and they were gifted to neighbours. That Stretch Boba is very cool. Also loved the Darth Vader Tie Fighter as a kid. Great advertising pieces around the store too, worth a trip from Mississauga.

Even though it's newer,I'd be tempted by that Jabba's Sail Barge. I would load it up with vintage figures.

As a non Canadian, my brain always plays Van Helen's "Panama" but with 'Canada' substituted instead. It's a compliment! (Sorry Rush)

I had the Sears cardboard Death Star too, sold it a decade+ ago with box, it was also my favorite playset and got a LOT of imagination mileage out of it! And if money was no object I think I'd have to get the massive Jabba's Sail Barge.😁

Whenever I see any of the knock-off stuff(art or whatever), I wish it made it screen. I know we got a lot, but a bit more wouldn't have hurt.

Cardboard Death Star is THE GOAT playset! Known as the Toltoys Death Star in my part of the world, haha. Saw one at a local toy fair recently. Dude wanted $1200. It was in okay condition but I'd want something a lil' bit nicer for that price. Just before covid, I had the chance to pick one up boxed for $500. But a work colleague talked me out of it. Kicking myself ever since, lol...

What gets me is here in the UK during late 1980s toy stores were giving the stuff away 😂 they couldn't sell it and now people want to pay hundreds for old bits of plastic 😂 nostalgia is one thing 🤔 but not me😂 and you said pick an item 🤔 I'd like some kind of impressive ja ja Bink's😁👍

I remember visiting a toyshop in Wales in 1985 and they couldn’t shift the stuff. There was a huge bin of carded figures at 50p each but I didn’t bite. I bet it was full of Yak Faces. 😂. But Star Wars as a brand was totally dead here from 1984 until the Zahn books and the Special Editions slowly reignited the flame.

If I could get one thing from 4th Moon it’d probably be one of their incredible Italian Star Wars items, even though that probably means not a toy, because I think my partner and the friends who visit our house would all enjoy that the most.

If I could have anything it’d be the Dewback. As a kid in England I and my friends were desperate for them. They were advertised on the back of the figure cards but we NEVER saw them in shops. Even in London. Was there ever a Palitoy version of these? I’ve never seen one.
