Dennis what happened to the V4 capo and the 4cylinder drift car ? Do you still run them I use my trucks most weekends

I think it needs a third gear, and some decent shocks on the rear, still setting up the twin carbs but very pleased with my set up so far, think it could do with a lower first gear and maybe a 3rd gear 👍🏻

You right about the gears. I have a challenge with a twin cabs, with no load the engine runs and rives up once it engages the clutch with the wheels it shuts off. Clutch spring could be just soft even though it doesn’t feel like it. Did you have to deal with that?.

@@713Ace529 That’s definitely a clutch problem does it also stop when you put the brakes on ? If the spring too weak it engages early and it will stall the engine, also if the diameter of the clutch is too big it will do the same thing, or If it’s to heavy, it’s a bit of a black art getting it right. I make my clutches, so I can tailor them to suit the engine, I turn them out of aluminium and I kind of got to know what clearance and weight you need, when it comes down to it there is a bit of luck involved as well 😊 we are pioneers of these models and engine’s they are not like a model you can buy off the shelf that runs straight away they all need a bit of work to get them running right. But that’s why we do it eh ? Good luck with the clutch

Lol. That’s right Steve. That’s why we do it. But yeah at 1st the I noticed the blue finished clutch shoes were too big for my Traxxas clutch. Once I changed it I had the same problem lol. I relocated and lifted the tank at different locations and that didn’t change. But thanks for the shine light. I thought I was on my own about this. I’ll keep pushing. Thanks for your response Steve.
