What I love about these is that they look more or less the same as the classic Playmates figures that were 2 of my favorites from my childhood. The designs from the toys were pulled into the cartoon for these guys, instead of the other way around.

I was unboxing my Neca Chrome Dome as I was watching your review and if those two are better then Chrome Dome then let me tell you they must be amazing. Can't wait to have mine in hand and I can't wait to display my Neca TMNT collection because it will be a big display bang with lots of great sculpts and colors. In fact I have loads of TMNT action figures, from the classic Playmates to the Mondo 1/6 scale I own 26 sets of the 4 turtles plus loads of villains, I may need one or two big cabinets just for TMNT... maybe three. I didn't hesitate in my review to say these guys are definitely the best NECA TMNT cartoon figures hands down, they'd be the best NECA TMNT figures period if I didn't love Tokka and Rahzar so much. Antrax and Scumbug were my #2 pick for figures of the year last year, only beat out by my love of Mondo Gecko. I really expected to like Scumbug the best since I loved that vintage toy as a kid and he was one of the few where the toy matched the cartoon perfectly. But, Antrax became the star, he's absolutely amazing just like you said in your review, the paint and style of this figure is totally unmatched. Very happy that NECA is stepping up the QC and the quality of an already pretty awesome toy line.

Nearly got the whole set of the rogues gang all that’s missing is Tempestra, I hope they release her in her neca form. And a whole gang will be complete. Oh and Scumbug and Antrax is freaking awesome. My only gripe with them is that they don’t come with extra hands like all the other neca figures, but they are still awesome nonetheless.

Love this set I'm noticing more issues with legs lately my anthrax arrived to day and the right leg pops off very easily , this and every one of the new deluxe foot soldier has been the same issue ,I don't know what they did to the mould but the original foot from the two packs was way better .great review tho !

Mine arrived with Scumbugs antennae broken off. Returned to NECA but they are not too friendly in the Customer Service Dept.

Was there a 90s version of Anthrax? I'll need to Google that and you should have a vintage and new figures comparison. The NECA vendor who puts the stock up at target never ever changes the price tags and I actually bought a Chrome Dome for $9.99 a few days ago and the condition of it is at least a 9.8 grade it's absolutely perfect. I strongly suggest taking advantage of those mislabeled priced NECA TMNT figures you'll save a lot!
