This is pikes peak in Colorado. You can drive up to the top most of the year. Second highest drivable peak in the US. There's a race up it every year. Ken was supposed to actually race it last year but passed away at the beginning of 2023. So his daughter Lia drove the racecar up at the event in his memory. She's driven this car in this video and she's a hell of a driver too.

I have driven up it several times and this video doesn't do Ken's driving justice... Ken had bigger balls than any driver I have ever seen.

5:52 is known as EVO Corner, Look up the videos, an EVO missed the turn and launched off that cliff sideways and tumbled down quite far. Luckily the robust safety harnesses and rollbars protected the driver and kept them alive

So this is a stunt/showreel video from a series called "Gymkhana", which features Ken Block doing pretty much what you saw in this video but with different cars/locations. It's coreographed, and you can see skidmarks from previous takes/rehersals in some shots. The're just made to look cool basically.

They race up this mountain every year and go wayyy faster lol he’s playing! One crazy guy runs a freightliner semi up it! Few years ago an evo went over about where he hung the rear over up in the devils playground section! Ken was a cool guy even blared black flag at the end and the coolest thing is his teenage daughter Lia drove that car for awhile!!

10:05 im fairly certain they do a bit of "rehearsing" once or twice because if you watch the video back you can see the exact same tire marks on some of the corners that he just overlaps so im sure they just check it out but for the most part fully gunning it yea its all in 1 shot its absolutely insane. also RIP Ken Block :(

Of course....it's a run you have to learn in and out first or possibly perish. With so many turns it's incredibly hard to memorize and needs lots of practice runs before something like this. He probably drove this 50-100 times before filming the end result.
