Just a couple of small things which threw my off for a minute or so. After you set the odometer to trip 'A' and shut off the ignition, it will revert back to your odometer setting numbers. That's OK, but you do have to hold the reset button in, like is shown in the video, and press the ignition button twice while the odometer numbers are still lighted - which gives you about 3 to 4 seconds. If the numbers go out you have to start again. No big deal, but it did stump me for a few minutes until I figured out you had to do all of this quickly or it wouldn't work. Once you get it right it works perfectly, that annoying little light will be gone!

keish04 - If you listen to the video it says every 5000 miles
@abblfe5 жыл бұрын
It should be a general reminder to get your oil changed, but if you're using synthetic or even semi-synthetic motor oil (that's what Toyota recommends) you'll be good for a minimum of 8,000 miles before an oil change. Aside from that just check your owners manual. Believe me, if you take it into Toyota for service every 5000 miles they WILL find something to fix/change/repair/tighten/service/clean/adjust or replace and it will be rather costly.
@condor56355 жыл бұрын
abblfe - key word is ‘find’ LOL. Yes they will find something to ‘repair’. Thanks!

@@abblfedo not go 8000 or 10000 miles for oil change even when using synthetic. Change at 4000 or 5000. Cheap insurance. This car now has 105K and it runs like the day I bought it. Regular oil changes ATF drain and fills, and a coolant change.
