Thank you for sharing your knowledge. As DIY man I really appreciate this. After watching your video I did exactly what you instructed to do and it everything went smoothly. The price I paid on the eBay was $125 for shifter assembly. Not a bad price considering the cost of a new one! Anyways I just wanted to say Thank you for posting this video.

Thank you! Hey man, so the long metal pin that hold in place the cover to access the spring/pin... how did you remove that pin? Mine is super super tight and i just want to remove it to see if my problem is the same as yours (with the plastic cylinder that holds the pin/spring is broken).

Nope- i guess I’ll just wait until I get a replacement assembly seeing how it seems impossible to disassemble just to diagnose. Sucks

God bless you. I wanted to see if the shifter wire is held by something as mine slips out easily but I’ll have to put something to stopping it from slipping out..

Great video My problem is that is hard to shift from D to 4 and backwards, I have to give it a little bump Otherwise the gears shift smoothly, is just the lever that gets a little stuck
