I have the 04 sport and getting the old man emu and springs and shocks put on this week ordered today can't wait got a 2" lift on the front so all around should look good I'm really really hoping. It's the 6 cylinder 04 yota sport

3 years later... how is it doing? I have a 2007 v8 limited that is 100% stock and was thinking about a 2019, but with only a v6 option, am thinking of just putting a few aftermarkets on since I only have 118K miles.

I just bought a 04 4runner v8 limited and I'm thinking about getting this exact same set up. I saw your other videos and your 4r looks great! Anything I should be aware of before purchasing it? Also did you have to buy that front driver side trim? or did it come with it?

Chingy Thao how man miles on the '04? See if timing belt was ever changed. Check the carfax. My 4Runner is 100% stock in this video.

Hey I really like your setup, I was considering doing the same. I read that lifting your truck changes they dynamics and angles of many components of the vehicle and that parts will wear out faster over time. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on this? Thanks for your video!!

20avecya a 3inch lift won't change much. If you install the front diff drop it will relieve the angle on the CV joints which can wear out faster with a lift. A lot of people say you don't even need the diff drop for a lift 3inches or less. Other than that, not much to worry about.

20avecya I did end up installing Camburg UCAs with my OME lift. The aftermarket UCAs give you more play when doing an alignment & adjusting camber. Camburg UCAs also gave me a much more stable feeling ride and less twitchy steering.

Nick Cap I don't do a lot of off-roading so I didn't want to hurt my MPGs too much. Also did not want to trim a lot to get them to fit. I have more than happy with the 275s. They look big enough. Glad I didn't go 285

I have Camburg UCA’s on it. Been on the truck for about 2 years. You don’t need them straight away but if you want a better alignment, they are necessary.
