Hybrid makes so much more sense than a full EV, given today's technology. Insanely good mpg, less polluting, no stress about finding a charging station in time or spending 45 minutes there, and your car won't weigh 5000 pounds.
@DerekDavis2136 ай бұрын
Hybrid is slower than a Camry with V6. Hybrid has much lower horsepower. Hybrid is more complex, maybe more chance for problems. Hybrid needs a $4000 battery replacement after 8 to 10 years.
@christopher-gardner6 ай бұрын
@@DerekDavis213 Less power yes but absolutely enough for everyday driving and if you want power and speed then you don't buy a Camry. Toyota Hybrids are known for being some of their most reliable cars you can get and batteries tend to last longer than that usually plus with all the money you save on gas and repairs, even with a battery replacement it's cheaper than a regular car. If you kept each car for 100,000kms the V6 you'd spend about $15,469.94 CAD in fuel vs only $8,499.96 in the Hybrid. That being said I prefer fun to drive gas cars, the GR86 would be my personal choice in a Toyota but Hybrids definitely have their purpose in todays world, I don't see why we can't have variety in what's available.
@norwegianblue20176 ай бұрын
@@DerekDavis213 Toyota has the hybrid technology dialed in right. I know a guy who still puts 20k+ miles annually on his old-ass Prius and it still runs fine and is on original battery. Believe me, I love a good V6. My current Acura has a 3.5 V6. But it gets crap mileage around town and in commutes. You have to factor that into the cost as well.

This is the review that was the final perspective and observations that convinced me to pull the trigger on the 2025 Camry XLE with premium package on Wednesday. The dealer in Oklahoma City advertised $2000 off the MSRP- I chose the reservoir blue with premium package. Heavy metal with red leather in the XSE was my first choice. I actually enjoy the smoother ride and memory seats in my XLE. I will probably black out the chrome window surrounds. No car is perfect and this Camry is really good at meeting its mission. I do have a dozen really petty improvements I’d love to share with Toyota. It’s my first Toyota, I have always bought Mazda. Toyotas paint needs work, their hollow plastic panels around the car need filler behind them. The glovebox is a shelf which is not my preference. The console cover needs more padding and a different spring action. I need a 12 volt under the AC vents above the Qi wireless charger instead of the console. My car did not have carpet or all weather floor mats so the dealer threw some in at no charge. The JBL stereo is not as good as Mazdas Bose. I wish the front doors sounded more solid, the rear doors sound good. I would like larger door pockets. The rear doors don’t open to 90° which would help. The seat belts are hard to grab because they are mounted close to the pillar and fingers can’t easily make it around the belt the 1st time. A pull down handle would be nice under the trunk lid for short people. The big misses are the absence of power folding side mirrors and walk away locking doors. The trunk bulb is incandescent compared to the LED’s elsewhere. My iPhones don’t automatically connect to apple CarPlay so I have to go into the settings menu. Minor inconvenience but takes longer than connecting a cable into the iPhone. I’d buy the car again. I paid cash so she is mine. Based on many reviews that didn’t recommend the AWD for $1500, I didn’t buy the AWD. I’m at 44.4 mpg’s also. More than twice what I’m used to. I’m 28 and almost a physician. I have a 911t S in my garage for wild weekends lol

Hi it's fun nice review:) But the AWD model that you drove, is that XSE or XLE. The cover photo of the video looks XLE to me but the description (video title) says XSE. It seems to me that the FWD was XSE, but the AWD was XLE. Maybe that's why the steering felt like that maybe? The other thing, I have been told the glass sun-roofs on the XSE Camry, they are randomly breaking. I mean shattering on their on! Come on TOYOTA, straighten out your poor management decisions!

I recently got the 2025 XSE with the panoramic moon roof. Toyota is not making models per the customer's request, instead they are creating inventory and it is up to the customer to find the model that they are interested in. I had a dealer giving me a Camry with all the features I needed and more but, I was able to strike a deal where I only pay for the features I asked for and not a penny more. So, I got the XSE with free accessories like the panoramic moon roof, blacked out badging, illuminated door sills, rear trunk light and mudguards for a little over $36k. You just need to find the right dealership and have the mentality to walkout on the first go.

If you have money in the bank use it to acquire real assets such as land, houses, gold or even top cars (Japanese, of course).
