Imagine paying 100k for the ‘privilege’ of doing a company’s beta testing for them. Elon certainly won’t serve any potential prison sentences for you.

The best Crown review ever. Love to hear all the different in term of taste and views of the car. I want this car for the weirdness, and for being like nothing on the road. I'd go for the Platinum.

@@TestDriveVideos It begins with the snickering about the ID stickers, to the FUD you spread in your ignorant comments .. poor AC, poor vents, and, glass roof being a magnifying glass for heat. Your video reads like "hey here's another car to test, let's start shooting and see what we have". BTW the "screen" IS the Android OS by Google and has voice recognition. Learn to use it. It ain't hard to speak out a destination or desired temperature . whatever. Oh and you can cool the car off before you even get into it. I think that even you would have to admit your video was a bit sloppy. You come across as Luddites to anyone that knows this car at all.

Is the 4th Gen MDX perfect? No. very few vehicles are. However, we're now 3 model years in and take a look at not just what is said about the car, but who is saying it. Reviewers take issue with various things in their short time with the vehicle, like the touchpad (steep learning curve, not perfectly optimized for AA/AC) or the fuel economy (mediocre - not horrific but not great). As an owner, I get it. There are things to be desired. That said, listen to what the owners are saying. The touchpad is not that polarizing. It's hard to love or see as the future in market infotainment, but it's fine. You get used to it. The fuel economy is mediocre compared to say, an I-4 Highlander, but the MDX is infinitely more fun and dynamic to drive. It's not even close in that respect. Owners trade these in for the latest gen constantly. There are shortcomings and flaws in every generation, as with any vehicle. Just take a look at how passionately owners love their MDX's in spite of their flaws to get a real idea of what it's like to own one.

Am I the only one where, in every new car they review, I become interested, and then they show the view out the windshield and I see the dashboard is a big rectangular plank with two computer screens and I just 🫥 nope right out of any desire for the car? It keeps happening, I'm worried all new cars are going to be that way.

I'm torn between the CVT and Manual. I have only driven manual once and live in a somewhat hilly place (north florida), is this worth getting a CVT as someone who doesn't know manual? I would love to be fluent in driving manual but I'm afraid of stalling all over the place. Great video!

? - Trying to hate? We’re surprised that this is your takeaway from a piece with very clear pros and cons articulated. And it seems clear that you aren’t familiar with our guys or our work as you’ve made grand statements about their experiences and what they really want. There is a difference between laughing from sheer enjoyment or laughing from absurdity. A vehicle this large going this fast is absurd, but it is no doubt impressive. As for actual commentary and interest? - Their feelings and takeaways are clearly stated here. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Great review as usual guys. I think that Muskett, since he is dabbling in every venture now (because that's what you do when you have money), had his head in space and decided to create this monstrosity. Since he does not believe in global warming and the destruction of the planet, (because HE can just fly to space), he does not need to care about mass ugly consumption and greed, while much of the rest of the world goes hungry.
