It's decent - if you don't have a heavy foot you should be able to do 6.5L/100km or better easily

The infotainment system has a USB port, but beneath the AC area it doesn't look like it does. Any Altis owners want to chime in? www.carbuyer.com.sg/cb-content/uploads/2020/09/corolla-interior-scaled.jpg

@@CarBuyerComSg Yeah, since the SG version does not come with wireless charging there, its quite necessary for charging the phone, instead of dangling a wire from the info system

Did you manage to play music via your phone just by plugging in the USB and pressing the USB icon on the display? Seems like it doesn’t work so I’m not sure what the USB icon is for on the screen..

The bevel on the screen is so ugly. Can we change it to a Pioneer or Kenwood with Apple Carplay?
@CarBuyerComSg
@CarBuyerComSg 3 жыл бұрын
The screen looks quite solidly set into the dashboard, as you pointed out the bevel is huge, so changing it for another system would be quite tricky we think

It's the same old engine as the two previous generations. That's very disappointing!
@CarBuyerComSg

Toyota tends to have a 'if it ain't broke...' sort of approach to things, and sometimes for reasons that aren't easy to see at first. We're all for new engines and latest tech too, but one expert pointed out to us before that some of the benefits aren't so obvious: Existing engines could possibly (but not definitely) mean less expensive servicing and repairs, since the engines are thoroughly familiar to local techs/mechanics.

@@CarBuyerComSg Thank you for your perspective. Indeed, viewed from this angle, it is a very strong argument to retain the same engine.

Its Toyota all about reliability and quality so if that old engine still works fine all thie years just made some minor adjustments and it be better.
