Where can I the following OEM parts for my 2021 Toyota Corolla XSE. 1. Oil Filter 2. Oil 3. Carbon activated cabin air filter 4. Engine filter I do want to use OEM parts. I could not find the carbon cabin filter even on Toyotas website. Also when I do my oil change do I need anything else. Not sure if you do any videos on how to jack up these cars and where to place your jackstands as well as where to place the jack when raising the car up. If so I really need that. Lastly. Do you have any recommendations on a really nice jack. I have also seen jack safety bars that attach to the jack to prevent it from going down.
@AlexAutoFun

@@angelad75 Hi Angela! Those parts can easily be obtained from you dealer (and in some cases from the internet) Regarding jacking the car up, I don't use traditional jacks, I use lift system (link in the video description) saves me a ton of time over jack and jackstands and takes little to no space in the garage since it's stored underneath the car. Cheers!

Hi Modi! I would be careful deviating from the service manual scheduled service, I seen some crazy cases where the dealer was quick to deny warranty if the maintenance was not followed to the letter. That being said, now that my Corolla has recently passed it's warranty period, I'm definitely with you as I plan to increase the frequency of my oil changes (While I don't have data to support 10K is too long, I see oil changes as cheap insurance, can you imagine the guys running the 15K extended oils! ouch!) Hope this helps, Cheers!

Why did you choose Valvoline over other brands especially oem toyota oil?
@AlexAutoFun
@AlexAutoFun 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Edison! I linked both Valvoline and the Toyota OEM oil in the description. I use Valvoline since I had good results with it on several other cars. I also had good results with Mobil and in another one of my cars I do run OEM oil, I think is more a matter of preference as long as the oil used is top tier and meets the manufacturer spec. The Toyota oil is about double the price than Valvoline or Mobil so that may also be a factor when folks choose oil. Check out the BoBistheOilGuy forums, I think you would enjoy it. Tons of info on oil and oil filters and which one is better. Hope this helps and thanks for watching bud!

Thanks! Does the owners manual allow for other oil weight? My 2018 Elantra has 5w20 on the oil cap but the owners manual says I can use 5w30, which is what I use.

Hi Joe! mine manual doesn't however I seen cases where people use other weight depending on where their car was sold (some makers something specify slightly different oil weight based on a hotter or colder climate) or when they want to get more performance or protection wear over fuel economy oil. Check out the Bobistheoilguy forums, it's a goldmine of information for everything related to oils. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Cheers!

Not a drip drop of oil on your bare hands after removing the oil filter - I’m impressed & inspired! My 2024 hatchback has 750 miles…chomping at the bit for the first oil change…next week:) 2024 spec calls for 0W-8, but I’m going to 0W-16 since I have some Mobil One. Using factory filter. I enjoy your videos thanks.
