recommend to install with some locktite (ie glue to hold nut on bolt). . just a guess.. i'm not mechanic

Mines was so bad the dam washer bent In I can't even get a bolt over it I have to band the bent part off so I can get it off hope I can get it. My bottom is so bent

So today I heard a loud bang driving on the highway. Didn’t see anything in my rear mirror and care drove fine, so I didn’t stop. The moment I drove off the asfalt I heard noises from the left side, just checked and nut on top of the bolt is gone 😮

I have a Yaris one generation after this. I get a clunk sound only when the engine is cold from that area Only once changing to 2nd gear (Manual) I guess mine has a different issue. Perhaps clutch related?
