Hi Gary, another well presented illustration of Etios service. I recently just bought an Etios Sprint 5DR. This video will come very handy when I do my own service. I must say this 1.5L engine uses very little oil capacity 2.9L . It's no wonder the service interval is 10000km. What is the cost of each spark plug seeing that Toyota recommends replacement after every 20000 kms.

In a manual gearbox, almost never, Reno except when you do work inside the gearbox itself, there is very little heat here with it being manual, so the oil does not really deteriorate.

Hi, thank you for this detailed video. Plse advise if this car has an electronic idle value? The car idles normally around 700 RPM, however intermittently at the traffic lights it drops to around 200RPM. Plse advise the possible issues? Oil service completed and spark plugs including air filter replaced. Thank you

Yes it has and it could get clogged it sometimes needs cleaning.

When driving & coming to a stop, the idling goes very low, like it wants to switch off. & sometimes while driving & changing gears the idling is very hight like on 1500 revs. Can u maybe tell me what the problem is there please?

Hi Aιμιλιος Xαλεποπουλος, Some radiators have a drain plug, if not it is necessary to loosen the top and bottom radiator hoses to flush and drain the cooling system.

Check that the speedo was plugged in at the gearbox, it is electronic and does not work with a cable, Sikheto

The car was on a Jack that's why the oil levels wasn't correct , when u were checking..

There is no external filter to replace Roshan, the only filter is in the petrol tank and lasts as long as the petrol pump does.
