Ford endeavor quiches the thirst of luxury, off road capabilities, amazing features, top notch safety, great ambience feel, lots of controls to play with which make life very easy, confidence, amazing overall bulky looks, sparkling paint work, latest accessories and gizmos and proud feeling. All these leave other suvs seeing dirt, sply Fortuner which is a very good competitor but lacks luxury, latest features feel.

Of these two, we will suggest you to go for the 2.8-lite Fortuner. That's much more powerful than the Endeavour 2.2-litre, comes with 7 airbags (as against two airbags offered on the Endy 2.2) and has a bigger feature-list. Congratulations in advance. :)

The new-gen Endeavour is as reliable as the Fortuner. As far as the maintenance is is concerned, Ford India has worked really hard in that direction to bring the overall cost down. Unlike the old-gen model (that had 6 months/10,000 compulsory period service), the new-gen model's period maintenance service happens once in an year/10,000. And the Endeavour 2.2's first 10,000KM periodic service, including the replacement of engine oil, oil filter and Sump plug gasket, costs around Rs 3,400 - Rs 3,500. If one has clocked around 20,000 Kms in the first year itself, the same service will cost him/her around Rs 6,000. In fact the overall cost of parts too have come down in case one needs to replace.
