I have managed to get a hold of a new Black GR Yaris since someone opted out and now the waiting list is for 2023 so I couldn't take any chances even though I originally wanted the Pearl White GR Yaris. Looking forward to it amazing looking Car.

Legit NEVER selling mine... If the engine ever goes for example, 2JZ going in it for lulz. TOM'S Wing is the way to go for a happy medium in looks. I upgraded to a milltek exhaust because kids always ask to hear it and it sounded like a quiet hoover stock lol.

TBH, I disagree about the praise for the fake engine sound 7:20 - I hated it, and turned it off on mine. (There's no built-in UI to turn it off, but you can do it with a £25 ODB dongle).

You can turn off the Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE) with access to the obd port. Doesn't sound too much different to the enhanced sound, a bit quieter but you can hear the intake and turbo noises more.

@@dominicb5190 No truer statement has ever been made! What is/was VW thinking? Not even one button or anything remotely resembling a decent shifter... that's not GTI! Such a "novelty" like interior. Not much "sporty" about it now. I just would liked to have heard what Hampshire Photo Dude had to say about... I visit his site fairly often.

I’m 59 and retired 18 months ago. My wife said it was crazy to keep our Alfa Giulia and I should buy a sensible retirement car like a Toyota Yaris. I took her advice and have had my GRY Circuit for best part of a year and I absolutely love it.

Now I know the answer, I'm amazed I didn't already know and recognise this road, given that I lived in the Reading area for decades. But I came across it by accident the other day. It's between Sheffield Bottom and Burghfield village in Berkshire.

Cracking little car. I nearly brought one but Needing to put 10K down on a PCP to get it at £179 a month was a bit too much. I've now got a Corolla GR 2.0 Sport, another fab car to drive, but I'm tempted to get a 2nd hand GR Yaris later this year. 👌

@@dominicb5190, not at all. There are a lot of guys who own some frankly astonishing cars who buy these. They buy them because they are a great thing to drive. Overrated? No, they live up to the hype. You should drive one. If you already have, well rally homologation cars are not for everyone.

My December order has just arrived on home soil....off the boat 🚢 so I'm not far away from ownership. Currently in an M140i and I love it....and now decision time is looming .....keep the M140i or the imminent GR 🤔🤔 Loved my test drive in December....never stopped laughing ! 🤣
