+bluejeans_Canada tell that to the person that designed the transmission on all honda/acura automatic v6 at least from 1998-2008, at least 30% of them fail within 40k miles, and over 90% of them fail in less than 150k miles, Ive had hondas and toyota all my life, but now I have a 2008 lincoln town car with 348,000 miles with the original engine and transmission, I also work as a limo driver and I've driven town cars with almost 700k miles on the clock with the original engine and transmission, sure some japanese cars are very reliable but not all can make it to 200k miles with the original engine and transmission, I had a 1998 accord v6 174k miles that had transmission problems from before I bought it, but a flawless engine, toyota celicas Ive had 2 and in 1 I had to change the transmission too at about 120k miles, and the other burnt oil, I had a 1995 4runner, the engine was garbage and it had horrible gas mileage reallly good transmission, and a newer used engine was ridiculously expensive, 1991 mr2 94k miles, it was the best car ive ever had, suzuki cars the engine and transmission are garbage they rarely last over 150k miles, and the sheet metal is so thin you can dent it by just looking at it too hard, its crazy
