I recently bought a MK3 Toyota MR2 for a ridiculously cheap price ... yes it needed some work and YES I was too fat really to enjoy driving it. BUT ... How good is this car in 2024?

Welcome to the club, they really are amazing fun. I'm on my second, but it has been in the garage on axle stands for a couple of years. I must sort it out. Your U turn gives the impression of a large turning circle, but it is actually the smallest I know of due to the lack of engine in the front, allowing the wheels to turn further (I'm guessing).

Blown head gasket. Came from a friend for £200 including a Haynes manual! Rare vehicle here too so I'm a little nervous about sourcing parts but the engine work should be fairly straightforward as it's mostly Mitsubishi.
