A great car never got bored of it. I don't find the roof a faff its simplicity means it cannot break down . I am 6 ft and have not found it uncomfortable to drive.

Welcome to the club, they really are amazing fun. I'm on my second, but it has been in the garage on axle stands for a couple of years. I must sort it out. Your U turn gives the impression of a large turning circle, but it is actually the smallest I know of due to the lack of engine in the front, allowing the wheels to turn further (I'm guessing).

Many thanks 😊 hope you get yours back on the road soon

Hi from Norwich in England. Just joined your channel as I also have a :(broken) Proton Saga in the shed but my other car is a ...Mk3 MR2 (2003)!

Hi Ian. Welcome to the channel and thanks for your comment What's wrong with the Saga 😭

Blown head gasket. Came from a friend for £200 including a Haynes manual! Rare vehicle here too so I'm a little nervous about sourcing parts but the engine work should be fairly straightforward as it's mostly Mitsubishi.

@@buccabubuccabu would love to see some photos - I'm only down the road in Lincolnshire. Not a massively difficult fix - I may even have a HG kit in stock!

Manual hood is a plus in my book. Fewer expensive things to go wrong.

Congratulations on the use of fewer rather than less. There are so few of us around. I punched someone yesterday who was talking about less pigeons. Someone's got to educate.

Enjoyed the video, Nice little beastie❤ Your CameraAmy did a good job. It’s rather cramped for you, can see why you sold her. Love to see a comparison drive in the MR2 MK1a.

My roof goes down and locks inplace simply by pushing it back 😂😂😂. No need to get out or turn around!!
@JonCoupland5 ай бұрын
Yes I think this one needed some TLC in hindsight 🤣👍
@fredodonnell33232 ай бұрын
Hi, can you drop the roof so easily even when cold? Mine needs a lot of nudging and pursuading, seems the vinyl itself becomes quite tight
@jeii88412 ай бұрын
@@fredodonnell3323 never tried to be honest only use it during the summer months and basically it's easy . Drops and locks in place. If you look on you tube for the original top gear test with I think tiff nidell he demonstrates this !!

At least you only touch the steering wheel with your legs. It could be worse!
