In this video, we will show how to adjust headlights (low beam) and fog lights in the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4.
If your headlights are not properly adjusted in your Toyota RAV4 they can blind other drivers or make it harder for you to see distant objects.

I adjusted the headlights up higher and WOW, huge difference! They actually light up the road really far down now!

@@robs9324if using Philips screwdriver, turn handle clockwise to raise light. If using socket wrench, then counterclockwise to raise light beam

My RAV4 Prime -21 had plastic 8mm for the adjustment. The right lamp was not accessible due to all pipes with any thing els then a long screwdriver. Thanx for a nice video!

For a moment I thought that the review was about 2000 model when headlights beam were adjusted by screws while nowadays most of car makers started extensively to use matrix headlights.

How do you adjust the horizontal headlight and fog light beams? On the headlight, it appears the horizontal adjustment screw(?) is under a rubber cover at the very outside end of the headlight, requiring moving the fuse box on the left headlight, and the washer tank on the right side. Is that it? My left headlight is aimed too far to the right. I am not sure where the horizontal adjustment is for the fog lights. I will have to investigate, as I did not look too hard when I replaced my fog lights with LED yellow lights. My XLE required change out through the wheel well by removing a couple of snaps and pulling the liner out of the way to access the light assembly. Pretty easy job really, and to adjust the fog light I will also have to access the light from the wheel well.

Добрый день. Дополнительные ДХО -LED потребление 200 ма. Не подскажите куда тогда их лучше подключить. Выдергиваю верхний небольшой разъем от фары штатные ДХО горят. Что запитывает этот разъем на фаре? К нижнему разъему подходит большой разъем с толстым жгутом. Не хотелось бы его тормошить может есть еще какое нибудь место где можно. Еще подскажите пожалуйста при включение ДХО в светлое время суток-задние габариты должны гореть?

Размыкание цепи ДХО отправит ошибку в бортовой компьютер. Можно обмануть компьютер подключением эквивалентной нагрузки (резистор вместо лампы ДХО).

если я правильно понял указатели в процентах наклееные на корпусах фар, то проще делать по ним, на моей машине сейчас 1%, то есть это - 10 см от центра фары на расстоянии в 10 метров от стены к примеру ну или 1 см в 1м от источника света, на раве не смотрел, только вчера пригнали, но светят фары почти под бампер, очень неудобно. Хотя официальный дилер уверял что все выставлено как надо. Буду колупать чуть позже

Спасибо очень оперативно. Только спросил у вас про снятие заднего бампера. Тут же появилось видео. Подскажите пожалуйста, я подключил дополнительные ДХО к верхнему разъему фары. Как включаешь зажигания сразу они зажигаются. Тут недавно обнаружил , что при дистанционном запуске двигателя загораются только мои дополнительные ДХО, а штатные не горят. Может не туда подключил ДХО. Подскажите куда их лучше подключить ,что бы работали как штатные? Нижний разъем у фары так капитально замотан (заизолирован) даже не знаю ка к нему подлезть. Может есть схема ДХО где можно правильно подключиться. У меня полная комплектация Престиж SAFETY. Заранее большое спасибо.

Судя по вашему описанию, сейчас Ваше ДХО подключены к accessory (12 вольт при включении зажигания) и не видят реальный сигнал от ламп ДХО. Для того чтобы дополнительные ДХО и штатные ДХО работали синхронно, доп. ДХО нужно подключать параллельно штатным. Лучшая зона для подключения - участок провода непосредственно перед входом в штатную лампу ДХО. В этом случае нагрузка на этот участок цепи сумируется (увеличивается на мощность подключаемой лампы). Поэтому подключаемая дополнительная лампа не должна быть слишком мощной, желательно LED. Иначе сгорит предохранитель этого участка цепи.

For lowering fog lights- WHAT do you do with the screwdriveR??? Just push it? Don't get it!

The screwdriver has to be long enough to reach the adjustment mechanism. Then you turn it left or right to adjust the height of the light beam. You can also use 10mm socket to perform the same task. It is shown in the video as well at 0:25.
