I think i have this same box attached to my g52. The output shaft bearing seems to be rumbling when hubs are locked. I just bought the bearings (B30120C3) and needle bearing (ntn HMK4520). Thanks for the breakdown video. Hope you also make a rebuild one.

Should be a O ring between the oil pump and bearing on output shaft

I think my transfercase rear output bearing is bad, watching videos it doesn't seem like it's seated into anything? it just floats on the shaft? does it seat into the outer case somehow?

YO CHECK THE PINION NUT in the center of the flange, I thought my bearing was bad and taking it apart I noticed the nut had come loose, tightening it up solved my vibration.

I dont know where the whole top of it is covered in grease and is dirt and grime. Figure it's time to Clean it up

Hey nuttynu my mates Prado lost rear drive like we put it in 4 high and 4 low it drives but 2 high goes clunck clunck but front drive seems fine what do you recommend mate out put shaft gear or something definitely in transfer case?

Hi. I have a 2001 Toyota Ute, 4WD manual and it jumps out of 4High when I set off. Works fine in 2WD or 4WD Low. Sometimes it all locks up. Then, it all locks up and I have to get out, unlock the free wheeling hubs, rock the car back n forth, and then it works again. I am just running it in 2WD at the moment. Any ideas? Just swap it out for a decent transfer case?

Where is locaded the transfer case serial number?, i have a problem with mine, but isn`t manual, got a actuator istead of shifter, so idk what transfer case is, its very similar to this one on the video, the only difference is the way to change 2wd to 4wd, mine is with a actuator but inside i imagine is very similar
