Toyota’s Prime! 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser… Worth the price?

In this video I showcase this 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series. With 89K miles… is it worth the $45K price tag? On one hand, you’ll have a bulletproof Toyita that will undoubtedly run forever, however, for the same price you could get something much newer with less miles even. Would you take this over a newer Tundra, Sequoia or 4Runner? These 200 Series land cruisers ran from 2008-2021, this particular facelift version was from 2013-2015, with the 2008-2012 version looking super similar. The 2016-2021 Land Cruiser had a much more modern front end and interior. One thing is for sure, it’s wildly different from the 2024 Land Cruiser, hah.
What are your thoughts? Would you buy this? Or is it overpriced?

Bulletproof and low key. Being under the radar is my thing and never needing to call for help over my trans being out or some smaller thing. They are built like a 3/4 ton truck that looks like a luxury SUV. We have a black 2015 that is good as gold, we just drove it 3,500 on vacation without a worry in the world. They feel like an Lexus LS 430 inside and while driving one.

That is one sexy beast. Obviously as an aspiring buyer of one - it could be cheaper, but there are no better alternatives. G Class is even way more expensive.

Tbh all of the Toyota trucks are overpriced, new and used. Problem is there isn’t anything on the reliability level of the older platform trucks to compete with. But no chance I’d pay brand new 4runner money for that.

If that’s the asking price, and they’ll deal a bit, it’s not horrible. Depends on where it spend the last 89K to be honest. I sold an 08 for maybe $31K. Bit more miles. I’d assume these run high 30s to low 40s. The market will tell you it’s value (not. KBB) so shop around and see what they run for.

With the upcoming watering down and cheapening of the 24 FJ Cruiser... The 200 series are going to bring all the money in he coming years..The 100 series is starting to appreciate as well.

Yeah, you’d be stealing $20k from the fool who paid $90k for your 7 year old LC. For $70k, you can get a new GX550 Lexus and enjoy the peace of mind and factory fresh satisfaction of putting on the first 27,500 miles yourself. Simply put, there’s a line to draw when buying a car that is 7 years old, no matter what mileage it is because of the options you have to a buy a brand new and improved vehicle from the same DNA.

These suvs needs Micky thompson classic 3 wheels. Basically either 0 or negative offset truck chrome wheels. It also needs a bit more chrome. This body style is perfect for truck wheels with loads of chrome if not then it will ruin the look. Thats why the car looks dull here.

@@grant49 only to americans. There is a reason for rolls royce,bentley, even maybach keep their flagship vehicle dipped in chrome. It increases appeal of the suv. These blacked out trims work in a sports car or a sports sedan. Not on a suv. And those wheels arent dish pizza. You they are deep concave wheels that enhances the appeal of suvs and gives it a macho stance. Americans have no taste in cars what so ever. They want everything sporty. Even a suv. Cars like land cruiser should come with concave chrome like wheels.

@@grant49 yeah australian ecu upgraded land cruiser 4.5 diesels are mall crawler right. There is a reason why america is not the biggest land cruiser market but australia. Accounting for more than 20 percent of sales. Then its the middle east. Why did toyota pulled out land cruiser 300 from the us market if americans were truely that vested in off roading? And micky thompsons are rally wheels not for show. Go to their website the biggest thompson classic 3s are 17 inchers and not even 18. They are off-road wheels which add a macho stance. You should check em out. Not every chrome wheels is fragile its made of aluminium with chrome finish to enhance the look. Just search micky thompson classic III. Someone around my area has it on his land cruiser and it sits perfect with his green paint. Just lovely wheels. His tyre spec is 275/70/18.

This is the cult price ! Get the lexus LX 570. Superior interiors than this
