The way you explain things and make all the information easy to understand is not a common skill. Every word you said had meaning and you never lost me at any point. You certainly have a gift even though it might seem second nature to you. When putting in a leveling kit like that would you recommend putting in a diff drop as well?
@FixItPhillip4 жыл бұрын
I haven't needed to on the ones I've done, if your front cv axles are too much at a angle its possible for the cv joints to bind and pop, in that case you have to do the diff drop. But in my experience I haven't come across that issue with a 2 or 3 inch spacer

Do you recommend changing rear shocks? Heard that with 2 inches in rear even small bumps cause the shock to reach its full extension and “bottom” out
@Popwarner-x1w2 жыл бұрын
Probably not. Because 2 inches is not very much of a lift. I'm gonna put one on my Tacoma truck and I guess I will find out
@equalizer22334 жыл бұрын
Someone switched all 4 shocks on that truck. Those blue shocks came off a Trd Sport model. Trd Off Roads come with the blue and yellow Bilstein shocks. Its going to be stiffer riding with those sport shocks and its likely going to need longer rear shocks with that 2" lift as there not long enough and will be topping out going over speed bumps.

Awesome video. Question", since you've done a 2 inches lift at the rear suspension, aren't the shocks supposed to be replaced accordingly? I bought a set of Rough Country 3" front and 2" rear lift kit and it came with bigger and longer shocks, you think I can still use the stock shocks instead? Thanks.

It depends on the stock shocks. Some will extend long enough. If your kit came with extended shocks I would just use those longer ones to be on the safe side
