Toyota Tundra Owners Are FU**ED?!

With the new Toyota recall are Toyota tundra owners going to be having to throw their trucks in the trash? I am extremely surprised by this recall and how expensive it is going to be for Toyota.
All joking aside if you are one of the owners of theses trucks, this really sucks and I am sorry you have to deal with it.

The recall says may have debris not that all have debris. There is a lot running fine. Understand in 22 there have been only 75 failures n 95K+ sold n in 23 there is 10 failures with 125K units sold. Very low rate considering how many are out there. For the one with failures they will fix and for the others keep driving strong. Hope this helps you.

The issue is, these trucks are typically low miles. Imagine when they get up in miles.. there will be a lot more. People are "Toyota is taking care of it" is a cop out.. I don't want my truck to sit for 3 months.. and I don't trust the tech at the dealership to fix it properly.

2:33 - the Land Cruiser is not using the same v6 twin turbo. The Land Cruiser uses a 4 cylinder turbo. The Lexus GX uses the same v6 twin turbo however. I own a 22 tundra platinum, and have on order a 24 GX Premium plus. Toyota/Lexus will take care of the issue. Enjoying our vehicles in the meantime till the issue is resolved.

@@ModernDayViking take advantage of the discounts offered on the tundras right now! $10-12k on most new tundras. No matter what remedy the recall has in play you’ll still be covered under warranty, and receiving your depreciation back through the discount you get on the truck right now.
