My s-10 had heated mirrors .. 😂 it had factory holes in the doors and the dash and when the heater was on just blew hot air to them . Guess it was cheaper than running wires

If you have a cold engine it doesn't matter to increase the temperature. In the video you can clearly see it has an Automatic climate control, so it should handle the temperature by itself. The ACC will try to reach the temperature as fast as possible as long as it is below desired temperature. Some modern cars with ACC will not open the compartment heat until the engine has reach working temperature (or almost working temperature). So, it doesn't matter to increase the temperature to maximum because no heat will come out.

I have never come across a more complicated and inefficient defogger than in my 2018 Toyota Corolla. It makes my 2009 Corolla looks like a King. Never in the history of my driving have I ever encountered such a complicated defogger based on my personal experience. It is so bad, that when I enter the underground parking, the entire car is fully fogged and I am unable to park. If I could return this car, I would because I have had a few close encounters on the road because of visibility issues.

Well Marlo , you can put rain x defogger on your “ 4Runner “ mirrors when it’s warm out and that will help
