I currently have a 2018 Rav4 Hybrid Limited that just reached 46,000 miles. It still drives great with excellent gas mileage. The only problems it has encountered are replacing the blower motor for the HVAC system several times, all but one time under warranty, and three of the four power door lock actuators, which are known to be problematic on numerous Toyota models from these years. Otherwise, other than maintenance and tires, the vehicle has been rock-solid reliable, with no issues whatsoever related to starting and running.

In newer hybrids the batteries last a very long time. Our ‘07 Camry hybrid’s battery outlasted the engine, our ‘14 Prius’s battery is still strong after 135k miles and my cousin has a ‘16 rav4 hybrid with 200k on the original battery. From my understanding the batteries go bad if the car sits for long periods, especially in hot climates.

The hybrid battery doesn't cost a lot compared to fully electric battery but toyota hybrid battery will last for a long time and the hybrid can save a lot of money every 5 years can save almost 5000 dollars compared to the fully gas one the brand new hybrid battery will cost between 2500 to 3000 plus labor the rebuild one will cost between 1500 to 2000 but you have remember every 5 years can save almost 5000 $ and toyota give 10 years warranty on hybrid battery so that mean 10 years can almost 10 thousands $ but toyota hybrid battery will last longer than 10 years

The battery generally will last the lifetime of the vehicle if you take care of it, which means not blocking the ventilation intake and changing its air filter occasionally. Battery life is only a concern if you plan to drive the car 20+ years, which is a fairly small number of buyers. Assuming you're buying new, of course.
