My dad died of cancer 5 years ago and he left me his 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I didn’t really have much use for it but I kept it as a second car for sentimental reasons. He took such great care of it and I’ve also kept it in top condition. It only has about 100,000 miles and it doesn’t even have a scratch. Interior looks brand new too. Reminds me of my dad whenever I get behind the wheel. I’m a Toyota convert and will only buy Toyotas

This video is more than just about a truck; it's about the extraordinary bond between a man and his machine, a testament to Mike's incredible journey and a symbol of human resilience. The 1.6 million-mile Tacoma isn't just a feat of engineering; it's a chronicle etched in every mile, every dent, and every repaired part, each contributing to a legacy that transcends automotive history. It's only fitting that it finds a home in a showroom, but in truth, it holds a place in the hearts of everyone who heard its story. The Tacoma is a material testament to an immeasurable spirit - Mike's spirit. Let's keep his memory alive by sharing this story, inspiring future generations to value simplicity, longevity, and genuine human connections. RIP Mike, you've left tracks on this world far beyond the miles on your odometer.

I have an 07' Scion Tc with 200,000 miles. It's an icebox in the summer, and I've NEVER been stuck in snow of any kind, and we live in Massachusetts. I have confidence, that it will last 500,000 miles, because I've changed the oil every 3,000 miles since it's purchase, and it still has very strong torque. There's some rust, and it's dirty, but I wouldn't trade it for any other automobile. So far the only repairs, have been a steering column, that went bad the first 6 months, which was covered for a $50 deductible on the warranty, and an alternator, that's it

I never took it for service but I kept the oil and filters clean. I didn't even worry about tire rotation. I just drove it. The first and only repair came at 191k miles which was a front wheel bearing. The original tires lasted for 124k miles and still had good tread but they were starting to dry rot. When the new tires were put on I asked about an alignment but was told it didn't need it. Sadly at 211k miles a patch of black ice killed it. I now have a 2023 Tacoma and I'm taking better care of it and hoping it's just as reliable
