This documentary is early 1990s. I got the blond crawling/walking doll (at 6:42) for Christmas of 1991. I was nine. Somehow, I get the feeling that the makers of this documentary HATE toys!!! They approve of sticks, stones and weeds as the best children's toys.

I find many children without modern toys, or with the wrong toys and they grow up unable to get a job in this technological driven workplace. For example, children who don't play with technology will more than likely grow up unable to be a programmer or code. If you aren't playing an instrument, you will not become a musician, etc. If children are playing with toys that give them an edge in the workforce, getting a job is much easier.

They can have old toys if they use a tablet or computer games as well

It's so sad isn't it??? I have a 10 year old and she doesn't share my love for toys as much as I did and when she does like toys she's filming it for social media on her phone it's so sad no more enjoyment ☹️
