Temptation was a solid revival of a previous game Double Digits which had similar elements but only featured two digit prizes and that all chosen digits were made regardless and was played at the turntable era. After 5 playings which only included one victory, Double Digits was morphed into Temptation offering bigger prizes and, of course, a car and is still played to this day during the Drew Carey era.

Over $1,000+ in gifts for 1973... when you have that amount, it's best to take it and run as in the half-hour days, doing so would give you a good chance of moving on to the showcases as the top two advanced. This got me to think about something. Is Temptation still in rotation? I checked and it's only been played once this current season, in the first week no less. Bailouts have become the norm, thanks to inflation making it so digits after the thousands are just random guessing, and that creates a much less thrilling product as well as costs money. It would not shock me if this game was retired after a whopping half-century. Would be sad though. This game used to be great, so there was always the hope that it could be fun again.
@bk9509-o2o27 күн бұрын
It's too difficult of a game to win and the gap between the prizes offered vs. the car has shrunk. You can leave with around $10,000 worth of stuff now by doing absolutely nothing.
