Dr Balakrishan has still not apologised for the error despite admitting that he made a mistake. He is merely stating that a mistake was made. Admitting a mistake and being sorry for it are two entirely different things. Though, we can say that he has done more by admitting the mistake than other ministers who have made similar misrepresentations.

In fairness to Vivian, he took one for the team on TraceTogether. The real villains were the whole bloody Ministerial Task Force. They knew very well that TraceTogether would not have been accepted by the public if they had admitted the facts. So they just kept silent and hoped nobody would find out.

In this debate, i respected both parties on their point and both are valid. Nonetheless, there is a wrong doing here. If you want grace to be extended and explain that there isnt any intentional wrong doing, fine. Note that the same is also applied when the opposite side faces with the same situation the next time. Not sure if you guys are aware, i am totally disgusted by how the issue with Ms Khan was totally over blown ! Not that i really like her. And i am not sure if you guys are aware it looks damn ugly on the ruling party and it is such a waste of resources where Khan wasnt holding any ministrial appointment. Are you even aware that when you set up a special committee, have you ever even calculate the cost of the minister and per hour into dollar and cents into more critial issues of Singaproe.

Vivian Balakrishnan bungles wherever he goes. You can trace his track record from the Youth Olympics. The older he gets, the more ah neh characteristics in him show - from the long speeches he launches himself into, and the exaggerated manner his palm touches his chest in the hope others would pass it for truthfulness and that is just short of shaking his head a la kelingkia. It even seems he's pleading with Pritam to cut him some slack.

What Singh raised is NOT important at all........I hv debunked the White Paper on every aspect & the TT token is just ONE eg. The WP claimed that a Harvard U team had described SGP's contact tracing method scanning one's NRIC as the "GOLD STD" ; why why the TT token, which the govt. has NOT shown its utility value eg. Blk 506 in Gerald Giam's constituency in Hougang had one case of C-19, but the WHOLE block residents + the adjacent blks also required to be tested.......so what was the use of the TT tokens? Anyway, recently, the CE of GovTech was relieved of his position AFTER I'd pointed out that TT token was a waste of $$$. LHL claimed matter was "thoroughly" debated long time ago...............yet only recently fired the CE o GovTech.
