Was it in limp mode running on 5 cylinders? I had this at Assen Moto GP track back in october last year, went into the pits and afer 15 mins I started the car again and it was running fine.... Saludos, Robin_NL (Bimmerpost) , LBB M2 DCT

Apparently the Display showed Powertrain Issue, The car was low on fuel, so it just went up to 4000 RPM, then we filled some liters up, and the car was running perfectly 20 minutes after, about if it was running in 5 cil mode, we did not realize about it the moment it happened, but probably it was! Saludos!

es normal que os corte inyección, si vas con el deposito vacío o con poca gasolina se puede descebar la bomba y reventar y como seguridad apaga el coche xD. La próxima ya sabéis, no dejarlo bajar de 1/4 deposito como max, os paráis en el bruch y lleváis deposito de 30 litros.

No errors stored, apparently the M2 does not run on track on low fuel, cuts the injection straight away and does not go over 3000 rpm. This mechanism got enabled and made us stop the car. Powertrain failure it popped up in the screen, but after it was not showing any error! Thanks For Commenting and hope you enjoyed the video!

I've been on track with less than 30kms range with my M2 (would probably be enough for 1/4 lap around the Nurburgring) and never had problems.

It is incredibly pathetic that M division and NISMO division have built weekend track cars with fuel starvation issues in right side corners since the 1990's, considering what insane prices they cost in Europe (>60 thousand dollars) precisely justifying those insane prices because they are supposedly "track ready" and they never are.

This happened to me - The M2 cannot be raced with less than 1/2 tank of fuel

NoToBigBro Hey! It was really the last lap and the last car passing by when we got out of the gravel! Taking this in to account and also the fact of knowing the marshals i guess it made it not as strict as it probably had to be! Cheers!
