is there a beginner group, lol? I want to ride this track I live 40 minutes away from it, but i have never done a track day before. any suggestions?

Yes, there absolutely is a beginner group that includes a lot of free instruction and a much more calm average pace. You should definitely try riding with Sportbike Track Time - they run a very safe event and the coaching/instruction is excellent.
