Hi Ryan. I have been learning Blender for about a year now and your channel has been a significant part of this journey. Blender is a diverse and complex program and greats tips like this are really a breath of fresh air ! Positioning of lighting has always been a bit hit and miss for me to get desired effect so thanks for this tip and a year of learning inspired by your tuition 🙂

Hi Ryan King Art, I just wanted to say how much I love your channel! Your videos are super creative, and I’ve learned so many cool tips and tricks for Blender from watching them. You make everything look so fun and easy, and it really inspires me to keep improving my skills. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to model a Magic 8 Ball? I think it would be such a cool project because it’s simple, but it also has some interesting details like the text, the triangular window, and the smooth, shiny surface. It could be a great beginner-friendly project while still teaching some useful techniques. Thank you so much for all the awesome content you create, and I’m excited to see what you post next! Keep up the amazing work!

Thank you! This is so simple/obvious that I’m annoyed I didn’t do it myself and instead struggle with positioning lights manually! Thanks for sharing ❤

This is the first time I’ve ever been able to critique something you’ve made (thankfully, your work is great so it’s hard to find critique.) why not just place and empty, parent the light to it, move the light to the distance you want, and then just rotate the empty?

I was wondering if you would do a tutorial of a Christmas horror scene? Something like looking through the view of a creepy window and seeing something disturbing behind it, or something strange across the river ect... Or anything that you want to do would be great.
