Porsche Carrera with PASM vs Porsche Cayman S without PASM!!!

I have both 987.2 and 997.2 both with PASM, the 997.2 is always faster. Doesn't matter if it has PASM or not. Porsche just won't let the Cayman be faster than the 911. Ever.

@@Horizontally.Opposed The 987 is not a fast car, if you are afraid of that don't buy it. A mk 7.5 golf GTI with a tune will smoke you off the line. It's all about the handling so in any urban environment you won't be able to enjoy its full potential.

In Germany or elsewhere there are Cayman S" tracktools " available ( good price) they are modded for Nuerburgring Track driving, they deliver superiour behaviour vs most of streetcars at affordable rates. Top speed or rear axle mod, enginebearings, break optimization, cooler optimization or sportscat, high performance breaks etc no issue. Lately there are versions up to 500 hp plus available if people like " high power gators" 😅😊

Jethro did a comparison between a 981 Boxster S with PTV and PASM against a base 991.1 with zero options. The 911 was faster but also apparently more fun to drive. Porsche really handicaps the Boxster and Cayman with the strut based rear suspension.

Tsukuba is not a good track for this test. It focuses more on cornering as opposed to a power track that does both.

Disagree. Tsukuba, like Nurburing, is a great track for testing Porsches. Low and mid speed corners should really show how well sorted a Pcars geometry is.
