not so fast. Mustang had done it before thru Saleen. Saleens were never designed for dragracing, always for track, bred from actual endurance racing, scca and fia lemans series , it was far off the radar of average mustang lovers who only where interested in drag racing. @@hungrymynd5673 got a 2016 for 47k with 2.5k miles on her tech pack with magnaride back in January. Shes got 9k miles on her now still runs great. Also have an 11 gt500 since 2012. Gt350 is a little slower but 2x the car.

Yes, that car didn't have the track pack. My GT350 has the track pack and it has never overheated, not once.

Rev limit on the GT350 is 8250, not 8500. Why do most Tubers get this wrong?

Unless you install the Cobra Jet intake manifold, then you can rev it out to 9000 rpms ...

the cooling issue has long been remedied. just one other point, that porsche is nice. but will vanish off the radar in just a few months time. That Shelby GT 350, with its legendary V8 manual Transmition and sound, will go down in history and be remembered and sell for HUGE BUCKS in just a few years time when manuals are all gone and most sports cars will go electric. no more v8s and the sound a thing of the past. Yeah if you wanna invest in your future, get The Mustang. Thought youd never hear that in your life.

Only problem i have is the interior quality and general ford build quality. But tbh the simplier the better....then again my friend is selling his performante and keeping his gt350r....and hes had gt3rs blah blah bunch of cars. Makes me reconsider my choice of getting gt3 for 2020 spring time. Have yet to drive gt350 but whT you say is def true the mustang will be the car to have in 10 years time.

jod daley They just build it. It was designed and engineered at the Ford Research and Engineering campus in Dearborn, MI. The process that Multimatic uses comes completely from Dearborn. Source: I worked at the Ford Research and Engineering campus in Dearborn until recently.

These two cars are different beasts of Nature's. For what I gather....... I'm just guessing that the Porsche 911 Carrera is fitted with some of the 911 parts/ while the GT350 was design for the track; but not that track focused like the gt350r so I would say this comparison was somewhat unfair.

This review is the same from 2016 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZqTapuNhLt_pKM). Since then Ford fixed overheating problem in GT350 by including motor, transmission and differential oil coolers.
