standard practice is NOT to use locktite on NYLOK nuts

did this help with the transom not to flex as much? im looking to do the same thing.

Helped a lot considering the narrower motor mounts on this older Yamaha outboard. I have since switched to a new Mercury and the plates don’t seem to be necessary since the engine mounts are closer to the aluminum channels in the transom.
