I just started using circle hooks, I learned to reel down then just pull your rod up and keep reeling

You wasn't hooking on at first because of your technique bro. Your technique looks like your bass fishing. Try upward pull when fish pull drag instead. It's increases the catch. But hey you were landing them at the end good work man 👍

That s why it’s called fishing and not catching, I do agree with @changeaddresses about the circle hooks, you may have been pulling the hook out of their mouth or they may not have had the hook and just had the bait, still a good video and you caught some fish

Brother in my opinion you are pulling the hook out the fish mouth. If that line not tight you will lose them. You are not supposed to set the hook when using circle hooks js my 2 cents bro nothing personal.
