Helped me out a ton! Had the same problem with one in the shop driving me crazy so I went to you tube to see if anyone else had a similar problem, and sure enough, a closer inspection revealed a cracked crossmember! I work by myself so I use you and guy's like you like a co worker to bounce ideas off when I'm stumped and frustrated. If nothing else it get's me away from the problem for a few minutes! In this case it led me right to the problem. Thanks again!

I once owned an MTD lawn tractor that had the drive belt problem. It only came off after going into reverse. The problem was loose transmission mount bolts. Replaced bolts and some loctite solved the problem unit a few years went by and the problem came back but then it was a cracked transmission mount bracket. Coud not reweld it and found the part at a mower graveyard. The extreme shock of cutting grass takes it toll on these machines.

Liked the video. Best one on replacing the drive belt I found for CZ4815/CZ4817. My plate broke in 5 of the 6 points. Belt broke and tore up my pump fans. New drive belt is loose. Supposedly, equivalent to OEM. Could you supply the dimensions of the drive belt?

my neighbor has a z254f and the drive belt keeps popping off. the husky dealer replaced one of the fan pulleys under warranty and it still pops off. old pulley looked fine. I checked the brackets and can't see anything cracked. the tensioner pulley vibrates a lot more than my arien does is the only difference. We are stumped. I don't even see that bracket that goes between the transmissions.
