Hey, DIY! Many thanks for showcasing several other creators and their versions of your carry all design. The fact that so many folks used your design is a testament to how excellent it is and how professional your videos are. It is apparent that you are very careful and thoughtful when you design and approach your projects, that is why your channel is so successful. Keep up the great work! Thanks for the shout out of my carryall and my video, my friend!

I'm planning on building one of these this summer. My upgrade/enhancement will be a removable bench seat that my two young boys can ride in.

Hi Derek! That’s a great idea! Just be sure to have a good suspension on that bench seat otherwise it will be a really rough ride for your boys. Thanks for watching!

I never got the opportunity to thank you for the information you provided on your design. I found your video after purchasing a used BX1500 to save on an Swimming pool replacement Project, then deciding to hang on to the Tractor. My carry-all is a close replica to your original but has a 48" width. I can even travel through a 5ft chain-link gate with the 54" mower deck, front loader and carry-all in place, lol. I have recently made very minor modification to support my new 3pt quick hitch. Thank you for pointing so many in the right direction!

All of the carry-all's look unique and your design has produced a fleet of well-built carry-all's. Thanks for this share, Martin. Had I seen your carry-all prior to making mine I would have used some of the great ideas. I did not use a pre-built carry-all, I actually have 3 point hitch fixed forks and built my carry-all around them and I didn't permanently bolt the carry-all to the forks. I also made my carry-all collapsible which is great for storage. Each of the sides come off the carry-all in case I just want a flat surface. Another fine video and I expect you'll see more versions of your carry-all coming in from viewers. Have a fine week and enjoy the outdoors. Full-watch. 👍🏽

How's she goin'? I built a carry all and I think it is my favorite attachment. Probable because I built it myself!!! LOL I used bed rails for the frame and 5/4 wood for the deck and sides. A carry all should be the first attachment you get for your tractor. They are so handy. Thanks for showing all these versions. I got lots of great ideas for some mods to my carry all!!! Take care!!!

I love my carryall. I haven't yet but perhaps welding additional bracing under the carryall frame might increase the low load rating. One idea I saw on a city gardeners trailer is using 8 inch diameter pvc pipe as a quick long tool holder that I'm considering with a removable click mount to either side of side boards that have a removable hinge system. I haven't figured out a system to click mount the 8 inch pipe. I might just use the idea to offset the side boards like in the video. The reason I like the idea of removable side boards is tied back to the low load rating which pushes me to choose thinner side boards which remove is so I can load tree stumps and long tree trunks without sideboards installed. Another feature I installed in my carryall are d rings for tie down straps to carry my chipper shredder. I need to install a L plate to protect the carryall wood on the back lip of the carryall and also incorporate some type of removable ramp that I can use to help loading heavy wheeled equipment. I used 5000 pound rated d rings just for durability to prevent damage when tree stumps are ever placed on top of the d ring. I didn't use flush mount d rings because of the install hassle. D rings are bolted through wood and metal of carryall frame using two bolts.

How often do you use your ballast box since building the carryall ?
@DIYMyWay4 жыл бұрын
I still use it quite a bit. It is heavier than the empty carryall. And allow me more maneuverability than the carryall. Besides, I can carry a lot in the ballast box and the ballast box storage can be expanded on either side if I need it. Thanks for watching!
