thank you for this video! I too have a B1600 and struggled to find the transmission filler tube! Love the little workhorse but it can be hard to find good info on it. Your video has been super helpful and I will watch the rest too

Cheers Kath. Yes I searched and found the manual for the tractor. Although it is difficult to read as it must have been copied a hundred times. I am working on a repair at the moment as I had a massive oil leak on a recent job (latest video).

So grateful for this video, I bought the B1600 and struggling to find an offline manual for it that I can save and print out. Mine was running perfectly and suddenly mid work it just wouldn't start up again, no response when turning the key to start up.

This model does not seem to be that common - They are quite simple though. Sounds like an electrical issue if it is not turning over. Just follow the battery to the starter to the ignition to see where it is losing it.

I still love this little tractor - yes I have a solar set up at my current On Grid house and one at my new Off Grid property that we are building - but I will be changing it out very soon for a purpose Off Grid inverter as the Sofar is a Grid Tied unit and causing me a few issues.

@@HomesteadingUncontained good for you off grid is real independence in my opinion i have little farm its totally off grid with 15kwh of storage and 5.5 kwp pv so far it served me verry well for two years now just had to upgrad the battery from 5 to 15kwh, if you need any help with your system i am a renewable energy engineer willing to help, i like helping people go off grid with solar,GL

I wonder if that’s the tractor we need for The Ole Church 5 Acre Homestead? We have mostly old trees that we need to harvest and then clear the land for farming!
@HomesteadingUncontained2 жыл бұрын
They are great little tractors and a good size for a small homestead. You can get grabber buckets for the front loader which would make tree work a lot easier. 👍🏻

Thanks very useful - What weight (approx) have you been able to pick up with the loader? AJ
@HomesteadingUncontained2 жыл бұрын
A full load of dirt is heavy and unless you have weight in the rear it feels like it is tipping. The loader I have is rated at 300Kg. I am about to purchase the front forks for it from a company in Poland (who supplied the loader). Also the floating control which I don't have at present.
@ajinfrance2 жыл бұрын
@@HomesteadingUncontained Excellent, do you have a link for the company? the floating control is something I am interested in. AJ

The site is traktorki.com. They do respond but very slowly.

wrong oil my friend. That SAE 90 is for the front and rear axle. What you should of used is Kubota UDT. I have a B1400 and its the same.

I don't think your hydraulic pump will like the heavier grade oil. consider giving it a flush. while you're flushing the system go find the hydraulic strainer valve (that isn't mentioned in the manual) it is located on the opposite side in the exact location of the hydraulic drain plug at the rear of the tractor.
@HomesteadingUncontained2 жыл бұрын
Your right but trying to get that here is difficult. I will try and order some and do a complete oil change. That was my original plan. Cheers for the info 👍
